It's funny isn't it.
Suddenly everyone will try to chance Kaom's Heart, driving the price of it down hard. Maybe even so much that there is no more profit to make assuming your luck is average.

Following the current fad is usually always a bad thing to do.

For all we know Chaos Orbs are still obtainable from the recipe in some form, there is nothing from that line in the update notes to suggest otherwise.

Of course, you'll just have to take on content that's a tad more challenging. No more chaos orbs from farming normal Merveil, which was too effective anyway. This change is through and through of a positive nature and it'll be good for the game.

I'm sure it's still possible to get Chaos Orbs with the recipe, considering, under certain circumstances you can get up to 3 Regal Orbs - but the items that you'll be putting in to get them will be defined and you'll no longer be able to farm low level areas for random rares to gain them. Which I'm totally OK with.

If RNG Gods hate you, you wont get chaoses anyway. You will end up like this:

And these are only from my last 1.5 hour farming. 4 belts, 4 amulets, no rings at all. I don't give a damn about the chaos recipe changes.

The recipe just calls for a rare of each slot sold at once.

Running multiple clients is not an abuse, GGG even said some people could do that to get around the stash size limits.

"Two birds with one stone" applies to this fix in my opinion.
First, it makes multiclienting way less effective than it used to be since you can no longer complete multiple chaos sets in short time.
Second, it stops people from only fighting low level content in general when farming rares. They will actually have to fight cruel or merciless content now to get rares that result in some good currency. It was way too easy to farm low levels for the chaos sets, even for non-multiboxers.
