Got scammed for the first time. Sucks :(

Hitting "accept" was wrong. He did that.

Another scammer protects his brother.
I need his nickname please. Will "scam" him too.

OP, don't quit over this. Its a learning experience. I get those almost every day in life. Some have cost me tens of thousands. It sucks, but you just have to get around it.

The really need to change the "Accept" button to "Accept the fact that no matter what we do, people like you will be scammed." button.

I fake-traded the second time to see if he'd do the same thing, he obviously didn't realise it was the same guy he scammed from 10 mins ago. He shows absolutely no remorse what-so-ever. Saying 'you have to get around it' is to accept the fact that dishonest people will lie and cheat in this game.

If I was playing a FPS and decided I don't have the time to practice like everyone else, is it ok if I use an aim-bot? I mean, it sucks, but you can just get around it right? Maybe drop lobby, hope you don't bump into another cheater? How about when the developer of the game shows no interest in stopping those cheaters... is that a problem then? Because when you think about it, it's the same thing. Not policing the cheaters in your games community is a sure way everyone will eventually take the 'if you can't beat em, join 'em' approach.

I din't get scammed, I read what I buy because of stories like this so thank you.

BUT I did buy a white 6 link for 1ex thinking I could magically roll all the stats on it that I wanted. Yeah of course it rolled crap, so I went a bought a 36c 6link with all the stats I wanted.

So same story, I was out 1.3 ex, but I was somewhat relieved in the end.

It happens, 1% of the world is awesome, 1% sux, just stay closer to the awesome, EXPECT to get scammed and carry on. Let people surprise you with kindness.

Like the guy that gave me an extra INSTANT recovery life flask because he said I was way low on my price, nice guy!
