I like how nobody that is harping on negative chaos resist in build had suggested simply getting rid of Tora or whatever other exile with Chaos damage from the Syndicate as an alternative way of avoiding chaos damage as a means of overcoming the difficulty. I guess that would require being informative instead of just shifting blame to a perceived flaw in builds.
"I think this was the intention too, but... a) The system is convoluted to understand and takes a lot of trial and error and listening to what others have found to figure out how it works, which can be a process that takes hours of gameplay. b) The Syndicate seemed to scale much more harshly with monster level than with the actual state of the Syndicate connections, even during the 10 acts of story. It's telling that this system is seen as something strictly hard that GGG put in, and not the customizable for risk/reward difficulty system that it is supposed to be. |

Sorry, idk about the "names" of the kind of syndicate i killed:
When the guys pop from nowhere, they are fine When it's the "cave thing" it's fine too, a bit hard in T12+ map but it's still fine. When it's the caravan, IDK mob are popping fast, the guy keep moving with the caravan, sometime he can't go 2 meters away sometime it goes far away before re TP on it, i don't like it but still okay. When it's the Fort thing, it depend, if i'm around 70% of my level done, i dodge, if not i try a bit. Sometime everything goes easy, sometime i got one shoted with cast on dmg taken+immortal call and 4 endo charge on me not popping, under basalt+atziri+wise oak flask, and full life (around 5k8 hp) in a t5 map blue (and i usually farm t10+ death less, only t15 bosses put me in trouble) Care spoiler !

And i've tried the Katarina encounter. i couldn't kill it, idk why, dieing from some random debuff, getting one shot without anything on my screen, and tons of invulnerability things from her.
I'm not a pro, not tried Shaper or Elder, not completed the Atlas once (maybe this league) but i'm trying to be as reactive as i can, and i admit sometime i do mistake, and die, that ok, but being killed without anything on my screen, when there is nothing to see or to hear is... stupid ? |

" Most people in SSFHC turn off Syndicate Encounters by getting the research lab and then never going in. Not all, but alot of them do. They are fine up until about tier 14 maps and then it becomes absurd. Also most of the problem is that people have never had to build armor before, and suddenly are getting dumpstered by having lack of real damage mitigation. Only Tora and It that Fled do chaos damage, everyone else is physical or mix of elemental. |

lets call it challanging/balanced elitists are like uhh power creep is utterly pointless there is no meaning to play the game whot? lets call everyone ignorant who is saying the game is to hard and is punishing to much if youre bad ggg approved yeah everyone is ignorant except you both uber creatures of the void youre like if it doesnt punish me its not challanging do you go to work like that also?? your boss is punishing you if you drop something on the floor ? he will immediately cut off your hands so you feel punished this is a h&s there is like no sense in punishing people for bad playing since people playing solo alot although i think syndicates shouldnt be nerfed "There are Penalties in the Game, no one's complaining about them"

The random snipes (ya know when your about to level) that occur need nerfing. I do NOT go after any syndicates now, and ONLY get killed when they randomly spawn from smoke and fight me for 4 or 5 seconds. That is lame that they faceroll me so hard at level 43. period. All other encounters, I could care less about and feel that the tuning is fine: Transportation, Fortress and Labs. They are fine.
