Is syndicate grossly overtuned?

i think this league divides strongly between meta and non-meta. worse than previous leagues.

I think arc/bv have least problems due to their high dps on budget gear.
Currently lvl 56. Handling standard content easily.
1. Caravans: out of 20 caravans I only managed to stop 1. Can't kill any boss that's healing like a Ferrari.
2. Syndicate members in bases always 1-shot me (2700 EHp at lvl 56). For now, I avoid entering these bases completely.
3. Castle battles: these are fun, because well... no timer.

Yes, I'd say the league content is grossly overtuned.

Currently lvl 70. By following this league starter build had no issues (so far) clearing all content. Life on hit + Cyclone + Claw with life/mana gained on hit made it possible. I used Storm Brand (was better than Arc imo) and Dread/War Banner at low levels for leveling. But I can see how frustrating it can be if your build doesn't follow poe difficulty curve. You will die a lot and than you will quit or adapt.

Sounds like a resi issue. I'm lvl 52 at 1.6k hp and I don't get 1shotted by anything but possibly cold-dealing mobs due to abysmal cold res.
Started playing this game a few weeks ago in SC delve thingy but thought I try HC SSF this time. Made a ranger and almost got killed already at lvl 3 by the first encounter so made this Templar instead with MS. Have had no bigger problem so far but darn they are waaay harder then any other stuff atm.

I always take out the doors at the fortification thingy asap and kite the dude/dues away from the healing totems and with caravans I use Flame dash to stay close to boss/bosses as they will teleport and take the lead of the caravan if they are to far away.

Also using Einhar (or what his name is) when he is up, is always good as he is a killing machine.
While part of the "this is overtuned" is probably based on "it's new and I don't fully understand it yet"... yes, some of them hit pretty hard and are very tanky.

While i haven't failed to kill any yet i did come close with haku...

With 4 warchief totems out he would take damage, but slowly. With only 3 out he would regenerate slowly - with only 2 beating on him he'd regen quite fast. I could easily see it being an outright impossible fight with only slightly less dps (or strangely a complete breeze with just 20-30% more dps)

Really surprised they haven't figured out that high regen is a terrible way to increase fight length... coulda sworn the same thing was an issue back in bestiary league.
First couple of acts were a bit rough, but after that it was smooth sailing. It got easy enough that I ended up putting up as many alliances as possible between syndicate members. Now I usually get 2-3 of them on me per event, and they die pretty quickly.

I'm an ES build going CI (but haven't switched that on yet), with generally shit gear doing 20k dot dps with vortex. Just need to up your damage, get some defensive mechanics in play, and you'll be fine.

For all the people crying about life regen on syndicate members, I can only say:
Cwdt(1) - Frost Bomb(10 at most) - Enfeeble (5)

You'll trigger Frost Bomb if you so much as get sneezed at, and that'll just decimate any life regen. Also, enfeeble is a thing.
Combat is simple.
Keep your blood in.
Take theirs out.
The league has been fun, the hard fights is what it makes good for me, I saw a lot of ppl on twitch and on my friend list just skipping the content because they can't handle it and are waiting for a nerf. I hope GGG don't nerf it because it isn't that hard like the ppl are saying, and I want to see more HC rip clips and laugh.

Haku's card doesn't look anything like him.
