Is syndicate grossly overtuned?

I got syndicate assassins + Beast at the same time, can't even see what's going on, kept on running and kiting, stood and fight for a bit then nearly got one shot without knowing WTH was going on. Worst part is they keep summoning new syndicate member and the whole screen lag to hell. Their damage are OP, I'm OK if I die knowing I made a mistake, but this whole deal is stupid, you don't even know how you died.
I have stopped completely engaging with any and all syndicate since level 20. Hoping to later see what this league is about once I have the gear and gems in place, which is mildly frustrating to have to put a delay on experiencing a new league.

I thought the same. I geared my character (4k+ life to start maps), went to T1 channel with 0 dmg mods and got oneshoted from Rikker (I think)
Seeing syndicate camp is not worse than getting ambushed by 2+ Syndicates out of nowhere raping your ass in 1 AoE hit. League is not even 2 days old and all I see is elitists already come out and tell you to git gud while most of the league still holding butter knife and wearing cardboard armors...wtf?!

Worst I see is ranged syndicate with Formula One health regenerate speed + 8 rows buff + instant 3 debuffs on you (root, DoT, slow)

(Seriously...we are not youtubers or streamers to have time playing all day to git gud and get lv 95 in less than 2 days LOL...

OR

Hi Boss, can I take annual leave for 1 week. I need to git gud at PoE at day one of the league, which is fucking stupid idea to do at your workplace)

The thing is, players who push 100 AVOID all betrayal stuff, because they know its just exp loss (or character loss in hardcore).

Like it is some sort of metric.
The first player who pushed to 100 (havoc) played a spark totem build back in the day when this shit was doing 0 damage.

Those 100 pushers always been choosing the easy path.

I was thinking the same. In this early phase only the Arc Trappers, Totem Fetishists and Blade Vortexers will have a shot at the league content.

I'm one of the many CoC wannabees, desperately awaiting his first Cospri's drop (moowhahahaa) before hoping to have any chance at doing league content. Maybe in 4-6 weeks, when I have my "l33t stuffz" and am a bored lvl 90+, then I can try to take on the Syndicate.

p.s.
I sometimes wonder how the balance team tunes this game. It probably goes somewhat like this: "Oh, in Delve we thought players would only get to depth 1500, but there was ONE dude that actually got to 5000 (?) something, so ALL our players must be very skilled, clever and have 25 hours day of game time. You know what: we gone upscale the damage and HP of every Syndicate mobster to insane levels, maybe that'll stop ALL those depth 5000 players."

At least its not Incursion once again with huge dmg spikes and tiny amount of time to deal with. The only timed encounter is transportation one and even this one gives us plenty of time.
Enjoy PoE getting balanced by SJWs redditors.

The one-shot fest SJWs want PoE to be is like one of those fetishes you like to think about but don't feel good when you actually try them.

This is classic GGG thinking in that it's easier to over-tune new content and then later nerf than starting out too whimpy and then ramp up difficulty. Keep posting and GGG will nerf the Syndicate soon (I hope).

Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.
