In 3.5.0 we are removing the ability to use stat sticks, through the following changes:
  • You will no longer be able to use skills that require a specific weapon equipped if you are dual-wielding and one of your equipped weapons is unsuitable for that skill.
  • Skills that could be used with two weapons, but were main-hand-only when used, now use both weapons when dual wielding.

Does this also apply to spells? Because so far spells could be cast with any weapon equipped if I'm not mistaken.

F for every single melee build that isn't a 2H.

Casters of Exile now. :)
So really stat sticks weren't nerfed, just melee dual wielding is now DOA. For things like blade vortex, gc mines its still fine. What a retarded change.
WHAT ??? WHY ???

Statsticks for spells are totally fine but let's kill all melee builds.
CMON ! I love melee builds ... why you force me to play spells/bows ...

Any item that drops very rarely should be justified in being that hard-to-find. Many very rare items have been improved, while a few were made more common.

I'm hopin this change applies to the "Primordial" Golem jewels, while strong, the build certainly doesn't justify their ludicrous rarity

I have dreamed of this feature for years, running builds that use somoe 5 or 6 auras was always a nightmare cause every time you died, all my auras would be stored in a single keybind and I'd have to manually change one by one of them... With this I can finally push all "once in a lifetime" (literally) skills to the offhand binds and only use the main keybind for skills I'll actually be using =D

I don't think it meant that, what I understood is that when shuffling your weapons around the game won't try to play smart and redistribute your skills, they will stay the way you set them.
Which is great, it was pretty annoying.

The changes are pretty nice overall, never liked the concept of stat sticks working the way they did but I would have liked it reworked differently, this seems like a lazy way to do it.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Dont worry bv is getting nerfed tomorrow, not today😏
