" I do not like your post very much. For me it is fascist. You should not sneer at other players. I'm below to 50 C an hour. But I have a normal life, family, children. Am I a waste to you in this game? Question to GGG - will such extremists pay you the financial success of this game? I doubt it. Last edited by Rip_VanWinkle#1322 on Jul 24, 2018, 1:24:40 PM

I would add
I have never bothered with these types of opinions. I treated it as something that is extreme. The question - which direction I will follow. It s certain that I will not follow the extremists. I have my life. |

" I fully agree with the user: Rip_VanWinkle. For the sake of the game, I will not leave my other part of my life. I'm talking about family. It is more important to me than the next game in the game. |

" "Durr hurr I will not leave the other part of my life." "My family is important. It's more important that the game or the game in the game." "Please change the one of the only things that still has significance in the game in terms of a last min maxing of a build to suit my needs." "It does not matter that the game can be completely destroyed on a 5 link please make it easy for ME to get a 6L. Because my family and I all need to live haply ever after and without a 6L we cannot" Stop complaining and spend time with your family if that's what is really important. The time you spent calling people fascists and elitists here you could have hugged your children. Also have you considered your level of skill at the game is just not good enough to go past a certain level of build, gear and overall success? There are different levels of play in this game and not everyone needs to achieve or be able to achieve everything. Not at all. I am at most an average player. I never made my own build and always copied other people's one. I trust their vision for that way more than my own. I also have this in my life: - 40H/week job - a girlfriend that is perfect for me and quite needy (I like that in a woman) - I like to cook so after work I do dinners - I travel as much as I can and usually spend weekends with friend and activities. Taken the above into consideration I have achieved the following this league: - 38 challenged because I simply cannot be fucked to do 40 - I could easily - First Uber Elder kill - Check my character for level, gear and build. I re-rolled it from a maxed out gear Power siphon. - Bank and other valuables: You say you have little time to invest and blame the game to be hard when in fact YOU are the problem. As an adult with a family and responsibilities I would expect you to know how to apply some of the life wisdom and, instead of blaming the game and elitist players for your failures, manage your time in game better. I'm off to the beach for a week! Back for the Flashback Challenge when I will get a Headhunter and you will not. Peace. "Never argue with an idiot. They will take you down to their level and beat you trough experience."

Well after years and 3k+ gaming i learned a couple of things to get 6 links :)
Every league all my fusses go to trying to 6 link, it only happens once a couple of league (last being Harbringer, havent succeeded in Incursion (but then again Incursion is the WORST league ever reward wise) yet so perhaps next league?) Anyways the easy 4 ways to get 6 links in the future. A) Be a streamer, They ussualy only need around 300 fusses to 6 link (cutedog ussualy does sessions so you can see for yourself) B) Have a friend with a good account, I had a friend who could 6 link anything with an average of 200!!! fussing. The constant nerfing of EVERYthing by GGG (the destroyer of fun) turned him away from this game so he cant help me anymore :( C) Buy a good account! D) If you persist on playing your own account, buy 6 links. |

There are different approaches in obtaining a 6L, but the funniest part is how every single person is stuck to his own opinion and is ready to defend it at the cost of his life.
So: 1. You don't even need 6L. It's not even an argument. Some builds do, some don't, some require it. Some players do, some don't. There's even a factor of personal preferences - you can't force someone else to what he wants or needs. As a general rule, majority of +90 chars should have one, to compete with the difficulty and stay on par with exp. gain penalty, respectively to cover clear speed expectations. Uber bosses also drop faster. 2. Buy one, don't craft. It may work, or it may not. This advice can eventually be true in general only if speaking about uniques, with current economy taken into consideration (prices, supply, etc.). It's also league related - for ex. advise a perma HC player to buy everything he needs in the void league, and watch him laugh his ass off. SSF exists as well. When it's about rare items, it's a completely different story. First off, great 6L rolls typically cost an arm and a leg. Second, one may already have a great roll non-linked item and wants to put it to work. Third, one may not want to buy 6L white base/corruption for reasons. At one hand, cheap corruptions are usually shit, and also bind you to a certain gem setup, could be hard to find the needed colors. On the other, making up with the desired quality of a white base may be as costly as manually linking a good rolled rare. 3. Always use the bench. First off, Vorici is scammer. On average, it's cheaper to manually link it - manual 6 linking requires around 1K, and in addition you keep the chances to be the chosen one and link in a handful of fuses. BUT. You also may get royally screwed. To a point you'd better uninstall and come back for the next league when psychical condition have normalized. So it's up to the individual to take a decision, in relation with risks he's willing to take and personal wealth. My personal, empyrically backed up statement is, that manual linking is always cheaper and often the best choice when it's about rare items. Under certain conditions: 1. Don't ever try to 6L an item you are currently playing with and build depends on it (main item). Or, if arrogant, always have the jewellers touch on hand. 2. The best in manual linking are players who often craft - changing builds, rolling new chars. Because of probability to hit the jackpot (5-10% range) within the average range of a 5L. In short - use fusings often. 3. If a player rarely rolls new chars and/or usually plays with a single char for a long duration - using the bench could be a really good choice. 3. If 6 linking is a must, never throw a pile of fusings at the item. Do the item with 200-300 per try. First, it's easy to collect such an amount, and you also won't regret deeply nor feel like shit if you fail. Second, this way you still keep relatively high chances (20-30%) to be successful. I've personally made shitload of 6Ls through the years following the advices above. But it's me. Evereyone has his own ways and tricks in playing the game. Rip_VanWinkle, I think Standard League would be far more appropriate for you.
