Crashing, crashing and more crashing since 3.3

Crash Crash Crash

i7-3770
ATI Radeon 7970
Windows 7
Crash to desktop no messages at all. The game freeze close and desktop.
The game rarely crashed before, so it's clearly something that came with 3.3
So that was my 2 cents... enjoying the league so far but this is annoying... it messes with my incursions.
Still crashes a lot, when playing maps (solo and in group). This was not the case before patch 3.3. Playing in standard.

Because I see a lot of different error messages here, some questions from my side (my ansers in brackets):

- Which OS do you use (Windows 7)?
- Which version (x64)?
- Which PoE version (x64 too)?
- Which display mode (windowed FS)?
- Vsync (yes)?
- Dynamic resolution (no)?
- Network mode (auto)?

Crashed today twice.. while leveling :(
...
same her crashing 15mn play then crash
Do any of you guys have a dual (or more) monitor setup ?
I have a friend with only 1 monitor and he has not had any crashes.

This is basically the same setup I have. I'm not sure about the vsync, dynamic res, and network settings though.

I think GGG gets all this information automatically when POE starts after a crash as well. They seem to have missed a bunch of crashes with this latest patch but hopefully they will find a fix soon.

There was a guy PM'd me earlier saying my particular issue might be an old power supply and so unrelated to POE specifically (aside from POE performance-wise being a shitshow) but I've tried running some benchmark tests to see if it would shutdown my PC and it doesn't. IDK what to think anymore honestly, I don't see any obvious patterns from process of elimination and every common issue I investigate turns out to be not applicable in my case.

Still hoping to find a workaround soon, the week is nearly half over :(
my evasion is so high i only insta rip sometimes

Bug Fixes:
People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.

I saw earlier that you mentioned your machine does some automatic restarts while playing.
I would guess you have an overheating issue somewhere, most probably the CPU.
I had the exact same behaviour a couple years ago (only with POE), and i got rid of it by replacing my CPU fan.
But yeah, i suggest you check the temperature of your CPU while playing, especially if it's an AMD.

An update to my crashes and what I've tested since yesterday (see my previous posts for more information);

- Tried updating to the latest Realtek High Definition Audio Drivers (R2.82) thanks to a previous post mentioning it fixed their crashing issue.
- Tried changing each and every single graphical setting (from changing Display Mode to the DirectX version).
- Tried pacing myself with skill usage/slowing down in my clearing, meticulously going from pack-to-pack in an attempt to notice any causation.

So far, the crashes are still happening, into the double digits at the moment and have lost count with no progress in singling out the cause.
