Why nerf breach....again?

Balancing a game towards those who min/max and do extreme clear speed is also a way to push people to play less. If drops are more abundant , especially currency , then more people will experiment with different builds and gear, possibly craft.

Reducing drop rates again and again only serves to further separate the top 1% from the 99.

the whole thing is a catch 22 really , ggg nerfs so we see less value in doing the longer content so we skip it. Since we skip it , we find other ways to go faster to make up for the loss of income from that longer event.
GGG needs to get more people playing the game internally and not do changes based off what the top players achieve. The game should reward playing more then sitting in your hideout trading currency.

Ugh, why do you think people are wanting it to not become unrewarding. Since we all have different definitions of what rewarding is, we should speak up about what is important to us. Nothing wrong with that at all.

The reason why players do likes breaches is simple: breaches are OP. Easy extra mobs, easy extra loot, easy extra maps. Since breach league was released every league looks like the same:
1. Levelup Zana to 8 ASAP.
2. Abuse breaches.
3. Profit.

That's why breach is cancer.

Tho.. I had too much breach fun in flashback, so kinda ok, fed up :)
Als I got feeling what new league stuff will be like a breach in its core, so why duplicate?

Again, you don't like it then you can skip it. Nothing you said changes that at all. The rest of us that want it in regular areas, can do it if we want. Doesn't hurt you at all.

Also that is not why I like Breaches and don't even do the Zana mod. I like to occasionally find them for a change of pace, nothing else. The game becomes very stale when it is just the status quo. Hell they are very rare in maps and other areas as it is.

Let everyone decide for themselves what is fun in a game. Just because you are happy to grind for nothing doesn't mean anyone who doesn't should just leave the game.

You are right. But why is that? Maybe if they would offer some additional areas of the game to grind not everyone would flock to the one thing that has some worth to it.

This is the problem. Every good grind this game has and had always has to be destroyed. Not nerfed, but destroyed. There is no reason to grind if 10 min of trading is equal to 1 week of farming maps. Empty maps btw.

Although Breach provided excellent value at 6c for the Zana mod, GGG could have taken other routes than just pummeling the mechanic into the ground. How about 1 breach per map with Zana 8 mod? Or not even having it on Zana, but leaving it untouched to produce a spike of excitement when players encounter a breach in maps or roll a breach sextant? As is, they decided to just wreck the mechanic and make it a hell of a lot less appealing to the people who like it.
Yes. The issue is Zana. Her mods seem to be meant to occasionally enjoy a mod that we like, but were made too expensive for that. Instead, she is a way to abuse whatever mechanic was meant to not be spammable.

Zana is the one that needs to be reworked.
