Why nerf breach....again?

I was not in the original beta, I think the concept of Dried Lake runs is pretty stupid, I don't care for boss runs. Nemesis was pretty good, it's definitely up there somewhere.

I don't get it. Why lower the drops, when breaches aren't that common to begin with? If it's due to Zana mods, then clearly the issue comes from those mods, rather than the breaches. Those mods are too expensive for fun play, so the only point is to use them for optimization. Can't those mods be free, but have only [Zana level]% chance of being applied to a map? This way, players playing for fun can have their fun, and optimizers can optimize without breaking the game.

this way they can give breach to people that want it and at the same time cripple it so other people will play the other options. like...like...well there are other options.

This is the same issue with people that told me how because my golems kill stuff in off-screen I should be punished by volatiles chasing me around the entire map. The game is giving me bad loot. The game is giving me the option to go through content faster. Why in the name of anything would I choose to get bad loot while going through content slowly? Do you also think that Bestiary was a good thing when rare mobs with certain mods were harder to kill than bloody Uber izaro? |

" You realize that if clearspeed hadn't become so fast and dominant then content would probably be rebalanced to drop a little more. GGG doesn't want you maxing out your gear too fast, i.e. they don't want you getting drops too fast. Cuz the faster you gear out, the less incentive there is to keep playing longer in general. Just a thought here: if a game becomes unrewarding as fuck to you, it might be time to move on to other pastures. It's not a job, it is a game which people are supposed to do for fun.
