Big thumbs down from me, GGG is dead and if Tencent want something they now have complete control regardless of what you say to us here. It'll happen, might take a while but It'll happen

At the end of the day all I see are a bunch of kiddies who know absolutely jack about investing, Tencent, or how the process works in regards to Tencent's ownership based on other multinational games. But can you blame them? Most of the people here haven't invested in anything outside of food. Let the kids cry.

I've been here around for 4 or 5 years now and see many great (core) players leave because of how the game is evolving. Noticed that less people are supporting the game due to that. At least they say... The question that people should be asking is why this decision has been made. Was is just to grab some fast cash or is GGG actually seeing the financial impact of their "vision" We can only speculate, because they will never tell us why. And why would they?

You claim to be independent, but you are no longer. And no, you are also no longer in control of the game anymore since you have to implement ideas they have. It doesn't matter if it will only affect the Chinese version. Deception seems the best word I can find at the moment. I can only hope we see a standalone-poe-2.0-knock-off soon. That will be the moment I'll put in money in the game again. I put a shitload of money in this game, only see8ng that everything I liked is destroyed

So is the problem, for those with one, that the GGG took investment from anyone or that they are specifically Chinese?

I would be a whole lot more upset if it was EA, Sony, or blizzard.
