putting a casual gamer on a rush to gain a lots of wealth/currency is not very a good idea.
You need to improve your way to find cash. Time, learning and dedication is the key. As everyone sad, pick up a build. An Easy and well explained one. I can highly suggest that you check the build from "engineering eternity" from youtube. They are very well explained and they guide you in your journey very well. the easiest way to get some currency when you have no clue of the things that have value is: - the chaos recipe, check here: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Vendor_recipe_system - selling you currency for chaos/exalted: you can sell Jeweller's Orb(a six sockets item sold at vendors give you six of them)/sextant/Orb of Alteration/Orb of Annulment/Orb of Fusing/Silver Coin. with that amount chaos try to complete your build and bring it to lvl90. From there you can start to earn more currency and learn others things that shape your knowledge of the game. I repeat, a keystone of this game is the time you pass at learning stuff: find a good youtube channel and learn from them (not from the global chat that is a mess) gl Last edited by ThoryX#1076 on May 16, 2018, 3:03:49 AM

Of course, the thing here is ... that there's only so much currency in the economy.
Currency is generated all the time, but the people who "get rich" from trading are accumulating more than they personally make from playing. (It's also destroyed all the time (crafting) but the net direction is for growth over the course of a League). That has to come from somewhere. The place it comes from, is other players. For every player who "gets rich" from trading, there are 99 more who are functionally poorer. Now that's not to say that the players who are functionally poorer might not still be happy (having purchased something they feel they need) but still important to realize that not everyone can "get rich" from trading. 'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'

" Absurd premise. Much closer to reality is to assume currency is infinite. Both are wrong, but which is the better model of reality? I'll go with the infinite. There's no limit to the amount of currency other than at some point it becomes uninteresting to farm for it. That's a human limit... not a game one. The secret is... PLAY GODDAMN GAME. I have almost 3 days played on flashback (around 70h) and I have over 40ex in raw currency while playing cheap-ass 5L Essence Drain Trickster (Im using Blight and ED in same item so I have 2x 5L instead one 6L)

" You're technically correct (insert futurama gif), but that's not really his point. His point is that no matter HOW MUCH currency there is in circulation, it's all relative. If all currency were 10 times as common (weee!) prices would go up and the 'rich' would still have a much larger percentage of the global currency than the poor. Now if items had a static price, then yes, the unlimited currency in this game would solve a lot of "poor people problems". But cie la vie. So for each rich person, who has more money that any one person, or even ten or one hundred people, could ever actually CREATE (ie find) in the economy, there will be ten poor people who can't afford that sweet sweet headhunter. |

" The thing i'd recommend most is accepting that an absolutely moronic amount of what you pick up is worthless, people buy 2 types of gear, incremental upgrades - 1c or substantial upgrades -multiple ex, there is very little in-between trading. The 2nd thing that needs isolating is how FotM is the item you are trying to sell? For example kaom's way has become super expensive in beastiary but 2 leagues ago it was like 5-10c, this isn't because its rarity has changed its because its extremely desirable currently. So what are people playing at the moment? GC miners, stat stickers, RF everything, TS/Barrage Bow etc if its good for those its automatically worth like 20x what it would be if you find an item good for a trapper for example, a good 6l RF helm is like multiple Ex a good pair of 6l trapper gloves is like 1c and it isn't harder to roll the helm. Obviously that will change next league at least initially, but getting a good read on these things early is how you can get the most profit even if your an unfocused scrub like me. Edit: Oh and remember that prices in general have a curve associated with them over time, they start of low and rise steeply (as people gain currency to be able to purchase items, but also the demand is very high) then they tend to trend down over time as the increased currency available doesn't outweigh the # of items entering the system, the exception to this is gated items or ones in very high demand which just stick with how much general currency is available. " This, just keep farming as the next mob might drop something good. Do this long enough and it 100% comes true! Edit: Personally I never sell anything, unless it is worth over 5 exalted or if I need a specific unique for my build. Other than that, I am out hunting.
