The resulting unique is bound by the item level of the source unique. So an ilvl 34 unique will always be rerolled to a unique, that is level 34 or below, as the video explains.

An ilvl 34 (or lower) Titucius' Span will always reroll as another 2x4 (size) str shield.
There are two (3) possible outcomes:

1. Lycosidae
2. Trolltimber Spire (but that only if you're in a Nemesis area)
(3.) Titucius' Span (does not happen because ancient orbs will always have a result that is not the source item)

That's why you'll get a Lycosidae 100% of the time (unless you do it in a map with Nemesis mod).

The Wiki states that ancient orbs ignore the ilvl; if that were so, you could get ANY unique 2x4 str shield from a Titucius' Span.
As the video shows, however, that is not the case.
The higher the ilvl of your source unique, the more possible outcomes using an ancient orb has and thus getting the Lycosidae becomes less likely.

Edit:
Corrected the Wiki accordingly.

yes i understand, but it can also meant the opposite, "item level restricted".
(we all know how GGG like to "unclear/forgot" about something).

But is it intended by GGG, is another question.

Now I'm confused. What can mean the opposite of what?

Here is proof that Ancient orb ignored ilvl of item in Harbinger League. You can see item level at 34s.

ilvl 36 turned into icetomb and later into other higher required level uniques.

no, it is still working within the parameters explained in the video.

in the video it shows lighty turning in a div card for lioneyes items on a low level character, and he ends up with an item level 2 lioneyes shield. This then boucned between titicus and lyco, even tho both are higher than lvl2. At lower levels they appear to ignore a certain amount of ilvl restrictions, you cna quite clearly see in the video posted that is still the case.

in that video you do not see an ilvl36 chest turned into higher level ones, you see one turned through many low level chests, never hitting a high level one, proving the method, until it hits a tabula which the guy probably then sells in trade and starts with a higher level chest.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

it means that orb didnt say anything related about item-level,
so u can figure out yourself if its restricted or not.

and like i say "But is it intended by GGG, is another question".
OP should have asked if its intended or not, rather than jumping to conclusion.

It points strictly only to one thing, "reforge an unique to another of the item-class".
