I think Ive actually done my best to not get dragged into the nonsense of it, I could write a massive sprawling "omg the turth of it whaa whaa" embarrassment of a rant, and Im sure some popcorners would love to see it. Fox was my friend and despite it all hes a very sweet and genuine guy, were not going there with the drama nonsense. But Im gonna say enough to not be accused of stuff thats nothing to do with me, for sure. " yep. Ive got 1 character in that league when I do /age on it it was created 9 days + 20 hours ago. I played it for 4 days, vendored all the excess junk in my stash, gave all my other currency, maps and all my characters gear away to ppl in my guild and went back to standard. I only came over for the disfavours, if the 30% quality recipe wasnt in the league I wouldnt have played it at all. It was fun, Im never really one for flipping items etc so it was different to just play trade chess for once, and honestly I didnt think pokemon was as bad as everyone made out. I guess I never played the league before all the hotfixes and changes but it seemed ok to me. I only made it to lvl80 tho, hardly an extensive playtest of it all. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" I think the best part is how he and others are becoming so upset over some pixels after they had already made significant bank on the exploit. My only conclusion is that there's more going on here, and said group that was exploiting probably also were engaged in unmentionables, which would explain why they are upset. Anyone who made bank off of this should be 100 percent banned because this clearly was not how Ancient orbs worked in harbinger. why do you want to ban people for things that are 100% GGG QA related? Nowhere there is an official text about how those orbs are supposed to work.
GGG politics is stupid about those stuff, players need to find out what is doing what and how. It is not an exploit it is working like GGG decided it to work and if it is not, it is GGG fault for not saying how shit are supposed to work. Complain to GGG about some stupid programming instead. its exactly how they worked in harbinger, its how theyve always worked since they were first introduced what, 8 months ago now? Its not an exploit, its just how the orbs work, its no more an exploit than exalting paragons with cannot roll attack/cast mods, chancing skyforths on a lower ilvl sorc boot, any other normal use of currency to increase the value of an item. If you didnt know this is how ancient orbs worked then you didnt know how ancient orbs work, now you know.
I left that guild because a massive conflict and madness exploded. I was saddened by how ridiculous certain people took things over them being upset by currency. Engaged in unmentionables? What an absolute joke, no one in that guild has ever engaged in anything that breaks terms of service, especially not rmt, if foxtactics even suspected someone in that guild of rmt for 1 second he would go apeshit, kick them and report them to GGG. He booted a guy out of that guild because he thought he might have been using an autologout after 1 single incident of the guy logging out while partying with fox, thats how far foxes paranoia and strict adherence to code of conduct for himself and the entire guild goes. The guy in question sent the video of the incident from foxes stream to GGG and said hey, my guild leader thinks I used an autologout script here, what do you think? GGG said they saw no evidence of cheating and gave him a clean bill of health. Fox refused to let him back in the guild because "GGG might have missed it"... lol. Anyone who knows fox at all knows that he would not be a part of anything or anyone that would even dream about engaging in 'unmentionables'. I might have personal issues with fox, thats between us, nothing to do with any of you, but know this, foxtactics is one of the most honourable and strictly above board people you will ever meet in this game. Im done with this drama thread, people can think what they want with their little popcorn armchair opinions on something they know nothing about that went on between people they dont know, Ive said my bit. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Ancient Orbs 100% ignored ilvl rules in Harbinger, 100%, period, end of story. That is indisputable and irrefutable. The fact that they did not ignore ilvl rules here, and the fact that it was found out by you guys, and then you guys exploited it heavily (you guys have mirrors/stacks of exalts from it), is 100% scumbaggery and should be a 100% ban under the same conditions as the League Stones. If they don't, I've literally lost all respect for Chris and GGG. |
