No. People tried to do this during Harbinger league but it didn't work. Ancient orbs initially ignored the ilvl limitations.

I overreacted early in the morning when i saw he had taken this to the forum and indirectly attacked me, by calling me petty "Me not being mentioned by name, but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out who was the previous guildleader" I had dropped the whole thing, but this action pissed me off and i should have just taken a breather. I should have been an adult and not responded, and def not have thrown a bigger rock back, he did not deserve to be strung up this way in a video game just because he plays a certain way and i play a different way thats on me. I am sorry and im fine with whatever happends next.

it did work this way in harbinger, it has always worked this way, we worked out ancient orbs worked this way very early on in harbinger when we started using them.

the wiki is wrong, ancient orbs have never worked the way it describes.

Which i can also vouch for to be the case... Because its where i got my Shield.. WAY back then for basically free or off the ground funded anyway..(Not that it mattered back then because this was pre-drop rate nerf but, saved me the hassle of a low item trade which sometimes turn out to be the worst)
Hell i wrote off one of the reasons to not add Harbinger to the main game being Ancient Orbs and Harbinger Orbs... And to some lesser extent Horizon Orbs. But yeah people even made it a point to use Ancient Orbs on Low Level Leather Belts for the soul reason to Corrupt the HH upon acquiring it as it have better success on the Corruption because of... The Ilvl... It's ALWAYS mattered... I even remember seeing someone post a YT video of this all the way back from Harbinger.

The WIKI is one of the worst places to get information.
Mainly because YOU... ME... Snorkle_uk.... ANY of us can actually add to the fucking thing...
The Wiki is mostly updated and wrote by players in the community.. Hell i wasn't even aware of this till i think Harbinger when i proved something on the Wiki was wrong and was asked why i didn't go change the misinformation there when i was immediately told exactly how to go apply changes to the Wiki...

If i could go write anything i want on the Wiki then that means anyone can and therefore considering just how many people either have no idea or are misinformed about things in this game... AND basically anyone can go make changes to the said Wiki... The Wiki is pretty safe to assume its going to have misinformation... Take it as you will.. If you read something there it might be a good idea to go test it out yourself anyway.. You might be very well surprised at the results. I know for damn sure i have been before.. more than once..

Now is some of the information on the Wiki good? Absolutely! Thats the worst part misinformation is spread out hidden basically in plain site mixed in with all the good information there.. Thats why you basically have to take everything there with a grain of salt till you test it and see for yourself. Or are already fimmilure with how something works and even then its still a good idea to test things in case something was missed in programming or otherwise.
