You are absolutely right we dont know the full story, and we may never find out. but no matter what your ex guild leader's intentions are for exposing this method (personal revenge, guild drama or whatever), he has got every right to share it. Since its just part of the "game knowledge". Especially if you argue this is intended game mechanic and not an abuse in the first place. So kudos to not just the guild leader and Lighty, but to everyone who share these kind of information.

Ya knowledge is power. I could understand keeping the secret within the guild. But to segregate within the guild just monopolize the economy... Straight up greedy.

You know the more people that knew the faster it would spread. Just as all past vendor recipes. Just like the new Ringmail Recipe... The finder is entitled to a finders fee, but a true exile should share the knowledge after that in my opinion.

Props to Fox for having a conscience.

The important information is if I read that right Snorkle (Who I appreciate his art and his forum opinions) got plenty of stuff in standard from years of other guys playing leagues.

What hes saying in that post is flat out not true, there was no segregation within the guild. I didnt even play the first 2 weeks of the league, I was just chilling on standard watching/listening to them all make 100s of exalts, buying headhunters etc in guild chat and on teamspeak, they made no secret of what they were doing, at all. The guys who were doing it were even giving out stacks of exalts to other people in the guild.

Everyone in our guilds teamspeak knew about it, it was openly talked about in teamspeak and in guild chat. I found 1 guy playing the league in our guild who didnt know about it and I instantly told him.




You wont find anyone in that guild who will agree to some of those things fox has just said or the picture he has just painted of me. Its flat out false slander, Im sitting in our shared teamspeak right now with our guild and the ppl in here cant believe the nonsense hes saying in this post.



This wasnt even about me, fox even told me that he was thinking of doing what he did. This wasnt about me vs fox, this was about fox and a whole other group of people in our guild he had an issue with who had been using this shield making method since the start of bestiary, I was on the sidelines in this entire stupid schoolyard drama until fox went nuclear with it.





Its all a pathetic soap opera, people with ridiculous egos playing silly power games. The reason hes attacking me now and making up bs is because I walked out of the guild rather than be a part of his nonsense. I dont care to go through the entire idiotic saga, its no ones business but our guilds, but Im not gonna have people like you who Ive had dealing with in game believing some of these specific false things hes trying to attack me with.
