Multi-Boxing. Finally. The facts.

Same concept here. If you had the ability to make the same amount of money in real life as you currently do, but work half as hard, wouldn't you? If you say no, you're lying.

Good thing, this isn't real life, so there is also a 3rd option. Leave and forget about PoE, if GGG doesn't fix this.
You have the option of pulling the plug on your computer at any time.

Unless you live in Communist Russia where the computer unplugs you.

Maybe a /players x command would be a good solution to the issue, allowing everyone to do this.

and.... problem soled!
This thread makes no sense, alot of ppl know that theres something wrong about multi-boxing/multi-logging(call it whatever you want), but they still defend it.. happens with every abuse in online games.

At this point its obvious that its a flaw in the game, give us /player command or something. Its not just the fact that you need a decent comp, its the whole fact that its obviously a flawed mechanic. You should never need to open 6 instances of a game to play it to a good level.

It wouldnt be that much of an issue if the actual economy of the game wasnt important, but as a loot based game, it is.
The game economy means almost nothing to me. I don't like how it is set up so I interact with it as little as possible. $trade is clumsy and time consuming. I don't horde orbs, I use absolutely everything I get. It's sad that 3rd party websites can dictate currency rates.

The in game currency values could use some serious inflation from the supply side.

Right. If someone wants to sit in isolation and circle jerk with themselves and 5 shadow justu clones, I don't really care.

But when it gives them a 3:1 advantage over everyone else, that's when it is a problem.

Ninja my loot? It wasn't /mine/ anyhow.

How about we group together, and I ninja every piece of loot with your name on it, and every other decent piece in every map for hours, leaving you with an empty inventory after 4 hours of gameplay.

Errmmm ... if it has my name on it, you can't pick it up. Once my name falls off of it, it's not technically "mine" anymore as I missed my opportunity to pick it up when it was exclusive to me. You're not making much sense.

It wasn't "yours anyhow", remember? Now you are wanting to say it's "yours" for 5 seconds.

I'm not even going to bother reading the rest of your post. gg

In POE multi-boxing would be extremely challenging because there is no /follow command and no in game macros

you make me rofl, where is the challange in tp a whole party of secondary characters and take x5 drop?

pls xD

Main problem is that multiboxing ruins the economy (u should have x1 drop not x5). This is all.

GGG need only to make a limitation to drop multiplicator (ex: party members add drop only if they hit for % HP of the boss), so u could challange ur brain multiboxing and the economy isnt fcked

Multi boxing is not the same as multiloading. He's talking about the former, and you the latter.

so you also complain if someone has a 10:1 advantage because he plays 20 hours a day but you only can play 2 hours?

I DEMAND a playtime/day limit! NO ADVANTAGES FOR ANYONE!!!
