Isnt this what Default is anyway? Where characters go when they die, win/lose, or get left out? Default is the dumping bin for the entire game. Unfortunately, yes.

I think this is something that could be alleviated, easily, by making a "Softcore League", basically Default, but without the trash dump of every other league's dead characters. And leave Default as the trash bin league.

The more I think about some of the underlying principles of this game, the more I'm starting to regret even downloading it, let alone giving GGG money.

Might as well take up multiboxing, or just leave before any more time or money (read: capital) is invested into this game.

Look here Reginald, Its not hard to do stuff as a summonancer. Given, I did have a perfect build, and really lucky to have good self found gear, but that does NOT mean you suck. You just needed to think outside the box for builds and get lucky with drops. Neither of those are skill based.

Automation and replication are not the same thing, and if you think so, allow me to direct you to a dictionary.

Generally, to automate something is to make it work without any manual input. This means the game runs itself and requires no input to work. That is automating it. When you replicate soemthing, you essentially copy it. Replicating your actions means you are still required to make actions.

If I start a bot program and set it up and let it loose, it will run by itself. That is automation.

If I start a multi program and set it up and let it loose, it will do nothing. I have to do something for it to do anything. That is replication.

All I can say is after reading the first 5 pages is I still don't see anything wrong with multiboxing

I agree with the original poster, and as a multi-boxer myself, I say that it is super fun!

However, the OP said that botting is illegal. It's against the rules and stupid, but certainly not illegal :)

OP - Others .

Multiloading/boxing/using

Whatever you want to call it, is all the same, you don't need a program to multibox, you only need additional clients open.( you only use to be capable of doing this on multiple computers) To play them all at the same time is considered "multiboxing"

This term has been used since early muds/eq. Before any programs were made to support it.

Now.. Going forward..

Its not Multiboxing/loading/using that people care about.

Its the benefits that come from it.

Exploits you are only capable of doing, while using the multi methods.

Change the system, or change the rules.


Thats GGG's only two options.. Unless they change nothing.

If you want to be #1 in this game, you gotta multi-use/load/box.

They should update system requirements for PoE. Minimal - to play on 1 account and recommended - to open additional 5 clients.

if you have any idea how system requirements work, you would understand that this is normally the case anyway, and changing it would mean they keep it the same.

Minimal= basic needs for the game
Recommended= Basic needs for running multiple copies of the game(or one copy at max settings)
