[3.1] Gladiator Reave | Slayer Cyclone | Oni-Goroshi | Budget & Beginner Friendly

Nice build, I've been trying to work out how to scale the sword.

So essentially it is a one handed sword (using two hands) that does not scale with two-handed nodes (based on the wiki) or dual wielding.

Would that be correct?

Does the extra fire damage scale with elemental increases?

I looked at your POB and in your POB link, you have your custom Oni-Goroshi sword with 20% increased attack speed and it is based on the Corsair. The unique does not have IAS, it is at 1.45 APS. I think basing it on the Rusted Sword would be better as it has the 1.45 APS:

EDIT: I got why you added the 20% IAS, from Her Embrace. Which is also where the 123% Phys as Fire comes from.

I made two swords. One without Her Embrace and the other with to check the two DPS values:

Yep, that's correct.

It does, which is why the damage-heavy tree decided to take a handful of the elemental damage nodes. The life-heavy tree drops them as they don't scale you as hard as the sword nodes do. Or at least not with my current setup.

Path of Building has been updated to add the Oni-Goroshi sword so the PoB links could be updated (again)

That's some good timing. I can't get it to apply Her Embrace though. So I'll stick to using the current PoB links unless someone can steer me in the right direction here.

The Her Embrace effects on the new PoB Charan Sword is in red. I assume that means they are not applying. I've stuck with the 123% increase and 20% movement speed edits for now.

Has cyclone and reave setups. Damage is extremely comparable.
