I mean the point is why is anyone complaining about power creep when mirror weapons will basically crush Elder/Shaper variants in almost 99.9% of cases.
See, because at least when shit like Legacy ROTC existed, people were complaining because Legacy ROTC basically crushed 99.9% of the bows in the game, made almost every other build look like a joke (especially because of +2 Barrage, etc.) and also because it was super easy to obtain relatively compared to most shit in the game, even more obtainable then things like Kaoms and Shavs which were total random drops (ROTC was tied to a certain boss fight that wasn't even that hard to get to).
The Elder/Shaper variant items require you to basically roll tier 1+ to be god tier. Example, in order for a 2H Elder Axe to beat a Disfavour, you basically need like every roll to be at bare minimum tier 2+
