Your opinion is invalid because it's not rooted based on actual gameplay experience. And no, it's not fallacious. The equivalent would be like if I criticized GGG for having a shitty map system despite never having actually ever touched the mapping system.


As much as I disagree with Snorkle, I'm not going to disregard his criticisms. There are a few things that can be curbed in, because potentially they could be problematic. However, those mods are extremely few, and he's definitely overblowing the potential of said mods.


Many vets also still play this game. Me being one of them.

If you don't play the actual temp league you don't understand the actual pace of the itemization. Which clearly you have no clue because if you honestly think everyone just has access to OP Shaper/Elder items as soon as they get into maps you actually have no clue what you are talking about.


No, the solution is if you don't like part of the game, you play and find out what is the actual issue, explore it, and then post actual criticisms. Saying blah blah blah is op without actually finding out if it is or not, and finding out what makes it OP is ridiculous.

Because clearly people are just gonna trade away Shaper 8L+ items for nothing right? And everyone's just walking around in temp league right now with OP Shaper/Elder items that are so godly that they shit on mirror rares right now.


This is exactly what I'm talking about; you have zero clue on how the temp league balance is like because you haven't played it. A good dual wield Elder/Shaper stat stick is going 2+ exalts already; sure there are a few on the lower end, but those are not nearly as good and don't add as much damage as one would think (significant, but not game breaking). The stat sticks that give you tons of dmg along with elemental pen? Those are going for 2+ exalts in temp right now. And this is temp SC where sunder isn't quite as popular as it is in HC right now, where same stat stick is actually way more expensive relative to the wealth of an average player.

Because people just sell 84+ bases at the beginning of leagues for nothing. And people just roll perfect rolled stats out of nowhere. Everyone's walking around with Bows, Axes, Swords, etc. that beat their mirror respective counter parts.


The only real issue is stat sticks, and that's generally tied to the fact that stat sticks are just dumb in general.

Like this guy doesn't even realize how expensive 86 good bases are. Like each one that I've seen in SC cost at least an exalt or more, and then you gotta roll it to the right rolls. It's like people think all this shit is just given out for free after beating fucking lab or some shit.
