And I just sold a perfectly rolled one just a few days ago. :(
Should have kept it. I even kind of knew it at the time, but I got greedy and offloaded it for a few exalts.
Oh well. Live and learn.

Luckily found one in ssf. Just need to find a bisco before the update nerf. Overall, 3.1 only nerf mom nodes for my build. Nothing too drastic.
All in all, 3.1 will require more tree modification.

Accuracy can be extremely difficult to get for a lot of builds. Templar and Marauder both have very little access to accuracy in the tree and no Dex to speak of, and spending four billion chaos on the 5-odd 300+ Accuracy rolls you need in order to be able to hit the broad side of Doedre more'n one swing in four is often quite punishing on one's gear allotment.
Lycosidae was over-present in the last few leagues, yeah. Every third build I saw was using it, which is too much. I can see that, considering it's a quality-of-life unique and not a build-enabling unique.
QoL uniques tend to be rarer and more difficult to get ahold of, they're supposed to give you something to chase. I get that, and I'm not really complaining about the Lycosidae drop nerf even if it's torpedoing my Abyss plans. C'est la vie. I can use Poacher's Mark on the build I was planning anyways, that should patch the problems until I work up the exalts needed for my cheater shield.
But the reason it was used so much is that getting accuracy on left-side builds sucks fucking rocks. It's expensive, it's hard to do even if you have the money, but until/unless you do it anyways you get the Feels-Bad-Man spectacle of watching half of your attacks whiff like rotten eggs. It's Not Fun, and is a primary reason why I often prefer spellcaster builds when venturing outside my right-side haunts. Marauder and Templar melee, without Lycosidae or RT, feels awful without that accuracy investment, you can't make that investment until endgame, and if you don't get a gigantic Accuracy roll on every freaking piece of gear that can roll accuracy you may as well have named your character Captain Miss Panda.
The enormous popularity of Lycosidae, its omnipresence in the game and people's flat-out eagerness to use a shield that otherwise kinda blows goats and does nothing for their build, might maybe be a signal to GGG that it's time for a few more accuracy-centric uniques? Maybe not as powerful or omniplicable as Lycosidae, but we've otherwise got, like... two That garbo gasmask helm whose name I can't remember and Hinekora's Sight, which is another of my favorite items for similar reasons of "Equip this, accuracy stops sucking". We don't need more 1k accuracy pieces, but would a couple of inexpensive, reliable uniques with a steady 250-odd accuracy roll I could use as stepping stones really be that much to ask?
Uhhmm you get 80% Accuracy in Marauder and Templar area (2x 40% near the class start for 3 points each), then Eagle Eye between Marauder and Duelist, and basicly every bigger specific Weapon cluster (like sword, axe bla bla bla) has a good Accuracy node in there... if you cry about having to invest some Skillpoints to fix your character... this game might be not really something that suits you.

Percentage accuracy nodes do you little good without flat accuracy to scale up, which the Templar and Marauder don't get much of given their lack of Dex. You still have to sink serious currency into an excessive-feeling preponderance of accuracy rolls on gear. Also not all builds take the big weapon wheels, or go to the Marauder start. Some people play elemental builds with the Elemental Build Class, and those often gain significantly less benefit (or no real benefit at all) from weapon wheels if they're not conversion builds.
Is it a solvable problem? Yes, of course it is. I've already planned my solution - Poacher's Mark over Flammability until I can get Lycosidae, debuff enemy evasiveness rather than grind my wurst to a stub looking for 1500+ flat accuracy on gear before level 60. Probably throw a few earlygame points at Precision as a patch, score a Karui Ward if I can for the early levels. Looking at it on the wiki, Yriel's Fostering (RHoa) would actually be super badass for what I'm working to do, but getting a 6L Rhoa Fostering with five off-colors is just a twitch pricey so no.
But yeah. Solvable? Yes. Doesn't mean it's still not a super annoying problem, as evinced by the fact that a very, very large number of people chose to avoid dealing with it altogether by using "Hits Can't be Evaded: The Shield" over a shield with life, stats, armor/defenses, resistances, block chance, or in fact any of the myriad things Lycosidae doesn't have. Lycosidae has one useful mod, and half the game sacrificed every other useful shield mod they could get to have that one mod.
That's how awesome Not Having To Deal With This Shit is. Can we? Sure. Will we? Not if we can help it!

True enough, long ago I suggested also giving flat accuracy to specialized nodes, wouldn't break anything on the right side and it would do much for the left. As it is, you need acc rolls on helm, gloves and most of your jewelry to make percentage acc passives worth it to a leftie.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

what build has 55% accuracy on it?
every attack based minion build in the game.
turns out ggg forgot to scale minion accuracy on skeletons zombies and srs. its a larger damage boost than the baron

Dudes, if it's really T1 now then it's a 10 ex item gg.

This. There's a reason most SRS players include an Additional Accuracy support gem in their SRS links.

What they really did is Claw + Lycosidae + Necro Aegis.
What they really do now is Solar Guards. SRS in 2017 lol

Even better is that they are giving accuracy to spectres now based on gem level. SRS? Zombies? Skeletons? Animate Weapon? Trololo of course not.
