The thing to focus on is not who owns the company, but whether they can hold onto their most talented people. If they have to replace their top talent with scrubs, it will be very bad for the game.

Yea. Activision wants to complete the RPG monopoly. They will buy out GGG

don't think it would be a bad thing, the ggg crew would most likely still work on the game except they'll have more money for advertisement and developing

Any small company like this is at risk of selling out to a high offer. If you and a group of friends made a great game, then weren't sure how it would turn out in the long run and were offered a huge amount of money to follow any other dreams you had, you would sell out too.


And don't kid yourself about it staying a great game in the hands of someone else. Any buyer would be looking at it as a cash cow to milk, not as a great title for a specific group of gamers.

nah it will be better. better servers,more workers etc.
