He shouts something before every ability, not just the overkill one.
Also, that doesn't mean it is always avoidable. |

" Calm down you numb hand. I do that fight with 6 characters. First time i also died. But 5 times i do this fight deathless. It is definitely doable. Last edited by Patrick_GGG#0000 on Sep 14, 2017, 6:15:26 AM

It's a terrible fight and needs to be tweaked. I fought him today for the first time with namelock melee. I got lucky and never died, but it was still a terrible fight where he was constantly flying across the screen, using instakill abilities I had to run from, and running next to one-shot statues so I couldn't get near him. There were ridiculously long stretches where I never had a chance to attack him because he was alternating between using a skill with stupidly high damage and standing next to an animated statue.
If I have to spend 95% of the fight on the opposite side of the screen to avoid a wide variety of bullshit one shot mechanics, it's not a good fight. |

I'm also not a big fan of the bullet hell mechanic of that fight, and it was the cause of my death the first time I faced the boss in the Beta. Maybe there could/should be a better way to present this skill to the player or a dodge mechanic for it (since the statues are not always reliable) but it is by no means a huge deal, as long as you look for the boss queues and are attentive, it really isn't much of an issue.
I just feel that many of the threads which are posted in this forum, even though they sometimes may have some good suggestion in it, if people keep filling it with "FUUUUUUUUUCKS" and throwing random insults at the devs, game, etc. I honestly feel that whichever good insight you might have had for the post is lost in the rant. Some better form and politeness would make everything a much more pleasant experience for all those involved. |
