Music.

Church music is amazing!

Is this music still in the game?

I remember hearing this in the early areas and in the Maelström of Chaos, and it gave me a general feeling of the game.

You can delete my posts, they were a bit off-topic, found a thread, which fits better^^

Posted some ideas, addicted to this Thread, in audio suggestions
A couple of things I have noticed regarding the music:

The first bit is just a small comment on the earlier act 1 music. It is quite... somber and quite cinematic in quality, which I dont think fits the atmosphere that comes across based on the setting/visuals of the early game. I'd expect something more foreboding for that point in the game.

The other thing I noticed is just that there are a lot of instrument choices that dont seem to fit with the setting. A lot of the percussion has a very electronic sound to it, and the same goes for some of the electronic sounding bass that's in a fair number of tracks. I've noticed piano as well in the encampment tracks. It certainly doesnt sound bad, it just doesnt really seem to fit with the general feel of the game.

Will we ever hear this track in game again? This was one of my favourite :/

Just started playing. Got someways past the pirate ship area in Act 1.

The background music is very casual in some areas, which is kinda bad. The upper prison where you kill Brutus has some awesome music that has a very dark, omnious feel to it, and Act 1 needs more music like that.

I agree to some extent. As i understand it, the music should be more hypnotic and menacing, rhythmic than overly melodic.

As inspiration: Maybe Fallout1, but definitely Diablo1 (especially the caves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9uRc7t1gGM)

At the moment it sometimes feels like a nice trip visiting Wraeclast, according to the music.

The music in the Submerged Passage, the beginning of The Prison stands out in their dark approach. Quite so The Wardens Quarters and The Caves.

The last highlight would be the Vaal Oversoul Theme, whit a rocky, dark electronical approach fitting the black magic meets machinism identity perfectly.

Whenever I hear the Brutus, I always get the feeling that I'm playing a Resident Evil game somehow. It might be that Brutus resembles AxeMan and one another and I would love to hear some of Tomandandy songs in Act4 ?!?. Here's some of their works that I think fit mood of the Wraeclast.
