In what world is a 1050ti "one of the top 5 GPUs available on the market"?

It gets crushed by cards in the 700 series and they were released in 2013:

What build is this in video?
SEXY!

I Though about buying a new pc for the 3.0 Patch. But lets try it this way!

If this works half as well as shown I might actually play hardcore next league. As long as this also applies to stuff like breaches and stupid density maps, also serious fucking lag Durning breachlords and other similar situations.

This. My PC ain't top notch, but the ONLY, and I repeat, the ONLY situation where I generally get spikes and lag is when I'm clearing a breach with too many monsters.

I don't think you cache something that is ephemeral and context/temporal bound.

The correct term is pooling. You don't instantiate/deinstantiate the object, instead, you store it in a pool that you can use to quickly reuse an existing generic projectile instance. When you are done using a projectile, you put it back in the pool up to a certain maximum pool size, anything above that gets deleted. If you need a projectile and there's none in the pool, you create one. Given a good balance between a maximum (don't let the projectile pool eat the entire RAM) and actual (have enough instances of projectiles ready to significantly reduce performance impact) pool size, you can significantly reduce the amount of memory allocations/deallocations that happen, which is healthy for the performance.
Amazing work GGG, but where's that Xbox one beta?
The spikes and bad performance (frame rate drop) can even occur on "high-end" hardware. I have a 6 core I7 5820K, 16 Gig Ram and a GTX 1070 and I have these issues now and then particularly while playing multiplayer...

Therefore I'm really looking forward to test the improvements within the beta!

Can't wait to be able to use my previous purchased effects. Stock armour is boring
from the get go. Don't start to look awesome until later on. Pretty smooth gameplay,
I noticed a lack of groups though. So I'm going solo most the way.

Any reference to "one of the top 5 GPUs" is most likely in regards to its popularity, not performance.

The 1050 Ti is the most popular at Best Buy.

1050 Ti is also one of the best sellers at Amazon.
