The average poe player doesnt know what theyre talking about!

When I was newish I was making GGG featured guides that face rolled game.

But yeah have years of D3 and TQ exp so that help.

Anyway that should not matter. Everyone regardless of skill or gear should find engaging game-play all the time. Difficulty setting is only way to make this happen. Unless you propose self nerf which sorta defeats gear hunt which is prime directive of an ARPG

No I dont understand what you mean. There is no difficulty in repetition, in fact practice makes perfect. It's just tedious. By making mobs hit twice as hard, have crazy ass skills like invasion bosses and 10x more HP is difficulty. Call that MP10.

For people like my brother who sucks and 86 after 3 years in standard we put him on MP1 with no death penalty, monster hit half as hard as now, and half HP.

Everyone is happy

If it's "too easy" as you claim, then why haven't you completed high level HC achievements after all these years?

Whats that have to do with anything? I like dying want to be on edge of death at all times with best gear. Thats whole point.

Huh? You complain on and on about how easy the game is, yet don't even play (and survive) using the current hardest available modes.

It's bizarre, man.

SC is harder because I dont have to use any caution and can run hardest map mod or use chicken script. Only reason I play HC for good MTX when separate, Game play sucked being cautious not running iffy maps.

Just more derp face rolling than even exists now

You really dont think I can run strand all day like they do when I made like 20 builds that do uber w/o dying? whatever

I wont just to satisfy you. Unless they give us separate MTX again. I'm a sucker for MTX

If you play SSF, guess what... it becomes a game of struggling to find stuff you wish you had.

And in most cases you won't ever get it. You think that's good game design? To HAVE to trade or you will never ever get it?

Nonsense. You're exactly what I meant when I said that players are the problem. You think a SSF player should have the same results as someone who trades. Nope.

I think that? who the fuck said that?

I think it should be possible to play any build, without trading. How is that a "problem"? The " problem" with this game is it's a economy simulator. The drops suck ass. You HAVE to trade or you're stuck using scrubby crafted gear or any of the umteen shitty uniques that commonly drop. You obviously like that and advocate SSF. Good for you."players like me" are not the problem. Making a ARPG more about a economy and trading than about the loot hunt is the fucking problem.

You belong to a entirely new generation, you wouldn't grasp what I'm saying. That's cool.
If people think making the game easier is catering to player demands, I have no idea what groups you're listening to or where you think this game's audience came from.
Ancient and unwise, SSF only since 2012

There's a good reason why we don't have great games anymore, and it's related. People think they want something, but when they get it they find that there's no real fun in having it. Games that work on the premise that they should give players what they want tend to be quite short lived. Games can last for years on a trickle of what players want.

GGG has gone overboard giving in to player demand. For the last two years power has gotten out of control. It has to stop... and can either be stopped by design, or simply stopped because people lose interest in the game.

The wants of the average player have ruined many games in the past. They shouldn't be ignored, but at the same time they shouldn't be spoiled either. We've been spoiled. You're seeing the affects of it.

Not sure what game you have been playing, but GGG is not, has not, nor will it probably EVER spoil its playerbase. They just have no idea about their game, NONE whatsoever. If they are ever able to balance this game classes, asendancies, and defenses all, and they have fixed trading, and removed all bots and cheateres alike, then maybe we could talk about being spoiled.

I want GGG to make this game hard. That means removing instant leech from the tree and every item. Throw it away and never look back. No more offense = defense.
