The Ascendant Class Changes

Correct me if I'm wrong but still not understanding why someone would choose the Scion if each thing she does, other classes does it better.

I was interested in test her in the Duelist for that block chance (having 4 nodes from her start point, even having less chance to block spells (as the champion who has 100% block to spells, but now, she has no chance to block spells at all.

Seems the "start from other class" the only unique feature she has, and is a very, very, useless one, because save 2 or 3 points don't replace all the benefits from other classes.

Seems you are trying to give her some "flavor", and maybe in Beta many players will test with nothing to loose, but in real gaming, when things goes serious, they will go for the most profitable classes, as always.

A constructive advice, make her profitable, you need to ask yourselves: "would I want to play with this character having others that does the same, and better?". She should be able to start from multiple classes by default, or something really unique like have access to the full ascendancy of the rest of the classes, something that makes a difference if you really want to "blend" classes.

Just what I think each time I'm tempting to use that character.

Berseker must have A Lot of Damage. They wonna to kill bersek class,but do not give anything in return

Mmm...Occultist/Deadeye Scion Voltaxic Spark is looking REALLY appealing here. It won't be as broken as it was in perandus, but it should still be fun to play. :D
Yeah, some changes kinda meh.... Its still not good enough. I will not play this crappy class again. Its a million years away from normal classes.
My triple totem scion should enjoy this. I lost culling strike which sucks big time but now my life leech isn't removed when I reach full life which will help my survivability big time. 50% reduced phys reflect damage(doesn't effect me I don't do the damage but will help my totems from not dying instantly now) and going from 30% to 40% increased damage after killing a rare/unique is a nice little boost for me. I'm hoping this works better now, it should. Thank you GGG!
Not impressed, thought you all would actually give scion its own set of ascendencies, but nope still crap.

Doesn't look like much of a change. Feels like you're just giving her a bunch of random stuff from each ascendancy instead of giving her the stuff that makes or breaks each one.

For example, if you give Ascendant Necromancer lots of Skill Duration (+50%) and the ability to benefit from offerings then it would be much better with only those two benefits. It wouldn't be as good as the regular Necromancer but then you could match it with something else.

Elementalist, Guardian and Slayer keep with their themes and they're pretty good. The rest are terrible.

Gladiator has literally nothing. 4% Block Chance? 20% Bleed Chance? 30% Increased damage with a kill condition??? 3% Movement speed for each block in the last 4 seconds???? That's awful.


You're not including the things that are interesting enough to work around.
