Investigations don't just stop if you fire one guy, even if he's the chief. But investigations can be 'steered', if you convince the chief to do what is in your party's interest.

Thanks to Wikileaks we know that the Clinton Campaign colluded with the mainstream media to promote "Pied Piper" candidates for the Republican nomination: Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, and Donald Trump. Donald Trump didn't defeat Bush, Rubio, etc... The MSM did, under Clinton campaign direction. At best, Trump defeated two Republicans that were elevated precisely because of how weak their policy platforms were, and one Democrat who was so weak that massive election fraud was required to secure her party's nomination from her opponent.

Don't get me wrong, out of that group of four I'm glad Trump triumphed. But we really need to stand in awe of how badly the DNC-media complex fucked with our election, and how brazenly they hope to scapegoat Russia for it. For what it's worth, the one thing Trump consistently gets right is calling out the media that pushed so hard before the convention to get him nominated and then turned on a dime and did everything it could to destroy him.

Not so sure about that about that last part ScrotieMcB other than secondary benefit. I think Deep state is making sure Trump does not endanger the massive military/security complex budget by restoring normal relations with Russia.

Yes. Thx to Mr.Rosentein and others it is like that. Institutions in the U.S. still work and not everyone is afraid to loose his job. Otherwise Trump would go full Dictator. His despicable cabinet is different. They are all willing to praise him to keep their positions.
