Donald Trump and US politics

Much whistling past the graveyard in which Hillary Clinton's hopes lie buried.

It's President Trump for at least four years, and attitudes like many I've witnessed on this thread will help ensure four more after that.

I'm contented with that, but what really makes meine freude schaden is stuff like this:

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/06/15/russia-probe-exposes-loretta-lynch-possible-wrongdoing-clinton-email-case/

File that under "Be careful what you wish for," anti-Trumpers. =^[.]^=

There's nothing for them to prosecute against Trump, which is why he isn't worried. He is laying the groundwork to turn the tables and the democrats and RINOs are all lining up....

It's not a Trump VS Clinton thing. It's about a crazy dude sitting in the whitehouse, tweeting (really?) and stroking his fragile ego instead of doing the job he doesn't want.

You're happy with that?

If you were POTUS and the press disliked you as they do Trump, this is what your post above might be published as:

FakeNewsNetwork : The PoE account known The Reporter announced today that Trump and Clinton are now best friends, saying "There is no Trump vs Clinton thing."

BSNBC: Pence secretly visits White House, amidst rumors of Trump considering resignation

WashingtonBezos: "Trump diagnosed with Fragile X syndrome, Spicer won't reveal which hospital he is taken to."

ABS: "Trump ISN'T the POTUS - crazy man found in whitehouse tweeting is an imposter, Trump actually kidnapped by aliens in 1976"

Fluffington Post: "Does Melania know Hillary is stroking Donald?"

Like his tweets or hate his tweets, his message isn't being changed by the media along the way. That's why he tweets so much. Expect all future presidents to do it as well - except they will have a team of tweet writers - like Hillary and her 80+ email/tweet scripters.

I'm talking about how sane people around the world see this gong show.

This fool needs to focus on his job, not on tweet feuds and frivolous self satisfaction. He's a servant of the people now. It's time for him to grow up and act like an adult with multiple millions of employers.

To be completely honest, wouldn't this be the best possible outcome for those that consider him to be a potential tyrant, disaster, or worse?

If he keeps himself busy stroking his ego, how is that not a massive win for those that oppose him?
Would you rather see him leading the charge on the GOP agenda?
Would you rather see him exchanged for President Pence who will certainly do just that?
Or exchanged for President Ryan who will even more certainly do just that?

I'm not sure how this isn't something to celebrate from that perspective; plus it provides for a Two Minutes Hate that this internet-connected world so desperately appears to want.

What nonsense, clearly you don't know what his agenda is. Looking at his cabinet appointments, his team is clearly pro-corporate, pro-military and pro fossil-fuel. I think that is the direction he is taking. Servants of people is not Donald Trump.

Trump became president to prove he could.

GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

The election has been over for 8 months. It is old news. Hillary lost and is not coming back. I am quite amazed that you all keep dwelling on that old news rather than the more current news about what Trump has done since the election. You all keep ignoring his actions and those of his staff and advisers.

what's with your obsession with Hillary?

What actions? Such as? You mean this witch hunt with zero evidence of crime?

someone says you support ISIS. Should FBI investigate based on nothing? RIDICULOUS.

Is this east Germany or USA?

These are some of the actual things that have led people to think that an investigation is needed:
It began with the Russian interference into the election. Deny it if you like, but that only makes you look ill informed.
*Trump love of everything Putin during all of 2016.
*Trump hiring a known foreign agent for the National Security council and one who has financial ties to Russia.
*A steady diet of lying by Trump's staff that is conformed when Trump tweets something different.
*Trump campaign staff hiding their meetings with Russians that are close to Putin. (Sessions, Kushner, Flynn) and then Manedfort and Stone.
*Attempts to derail the House investigation of the Russian connection (Nunes)
*Alleged attempts by Trump to stop the investigation
*Firing James Comey
*Trump's own statements to the Russians that he had ended the investigations by firing Comey.
*Jared Kushner's attempt to establish a secret communication channel to Putin that was hidden from US security agencies.

Now you can say that all these are fake news, but you miss the point. Individually each of these might be nothing, but over time as all of these have piled up and accumulated. There are too many Russian threads to ignore. As is usual, an investigation is designed to look at all of these and determine which are true and which are not. Keep in mind that the investigation by the DoJ did not begin until May.

Trump has created the atmosphere of a cover up. He has done stupid things to keep all of this alive and moving. He is feeding the media beast.

define russian interference in election.. Did they actually do something to affect the results, or attempt to affect the results? Where is the evidence?

We should warm to someone with 6000 nukes pointed at us. Maybe he can get them to stop pointing them at us. So what?

They are all nothing with no evidence. Just a fishing expedition from sore losers.

Trump should fire every Democratic shills. I'm surprised he's kept as many on as he did.
