For my eyes, Mr. Trump hasn't done anything new (yet). US had pushed too hard so that they couldn't be pulling out.

They could be pulling out very easily from a number of conflicts, especially Syrya since it's mostly under control. Instead Trump sends more troops over there and is trying to go into open conflict with N.Korea.

That said, I believe the same would have happened with Hillary since both of those parties are being funded by the war machine...

Maybe Bernie would have done different but even that I doubt.

If the left have different ideologies, why would they be left? Or expecting people voting for the same party have the same ideologies is full of crap. Not everyone believe in the same shit. Voting for the left doesn't necessarily make you lefties. If Trump doesn't stick with conservatism, why does the left need to? Everybody believe in their own different shit.

Pacifism is flawed in it own way. Pacifism is laughable, or at best impractical if their enemy has no qualms about using it. Refusal to resort violence would result in more violence in the long run. Pacifists who willingly gives up to the enemy inevitably promote more violence. Nobody say lefties can't pick up a gun and shoot you if you threaten them.

And the far right has KKK members and nazi. Yet I'm intelligent enough to know that these absolute extremes does not represent the majority of the right, just like the anarchists and communists (communist being used as an insult is a joke in itself too) does not represent the vast majority of the left.

Heck, I'd even argue that anarchists are MUCH better defined as far right than left since they don't want a government at all (If I understand correctly, the right wants the government to have as little involvement with its people as possible).

It's kind of funny though when you put communism and anarchism in the same basket since they are diametrically opposed...

The article is about violent Antifas, not about the "majority of the left". Antifas are usually communist or anarchist, depending on who you ask. Don't see how that is fake news.

Violence and destruction are not same. I don't know what you mean by "pacifism" but standing against destruction is not necessarily being laughable or impractical for me. I agree that denying desires is impractical.

Violence is the use of force. Peaceful Protesting sound fine and dandy. However, when Soft power are ignored and fail to bring about changes, hard power is a mean to an end. You cannot ignore an armed conflict.
