Know the repercussions of stress on a sick individual? Think maybe having police stop you causes a bit of stress? Additionally there are some other illness that magically appear after being stopped by police: Choking Bruises Broken Bones Tooth Loss Bloody Noses Bullet Holes Death For years i searched for deep truths. A thousand revelations. At the very edge...the ability to think itself dissolves away.Thinking in human language is the problem. Yeah, dudes might be lying so it's better to put them on chokehold just to be sure, even thought it's practically banned in NY since 1990. And of course cops are trained to know when someone if faking heart condition/seizures/respiratory problems. Besides, it's not like chokehold ever killed someone before right? Oh wait, I think it did... But I agree with you that it would have been nice if someone had recorded it, but I think we all know that even if there was a video showing that the chokehold was totally unneeded, there would still be people defending the cop, hell if you are a cop you can shoot people in the back, plant evidence and even with everything caught on camera, there will still be people siding with you... On the one hand, I have extreme skepticism about whether said seizure was real. It was likely theatrics, and even if it wasn't, prudence demands that officers consider that possibility rather than jeopardizing their security. On the other hand, when I ponder the question "how does one best protect oneself and others from a criminal who may or may not be faking a seizure?" my mind simply does not go to "choke hold." More of a "step back, hand on weapon without drawing, radio for medical just in case" deal, honestly. A choke hold simply isn't the best, or even a good way to handle the situation. While I might give some benefit of the doubt that such a cop meant well by it, I cannot help but condemn it as, at best, incredibly fucking stupid. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
