Well, what "pro-Trump" news have we been missing out on? I mean, I bet most news coverage at the tail end of the Nixon administration was not "pro-Nixon", but that's hardly a knock on the media.
The Democrats just ran a Nixon as their candidate. What would you have thought if, during the Watergate scandal, the media coverage was 91% anti-Democrat? Would it even be a scandal in terms of public perception?

The worst thing the US can do is adopt universal health care similar to Canada.

In Canada if you need a hip or knee replacement the benchmark wait time is 6.5 months, and many people aren't even receiving treatment within the benchmark (that's 6.5+ months of being crippled).

The waiting list for beds in nursing homes is years long. The waiting list to see a dermatologist is 8+ months.

Even emergency cancer treatment, radiation therapy, etc, I've had relatives who had to go to the US for treatment, because the wait times in Canada were so long that they would have died. The government covered this, but if the US health care system was like Canada's the option to send people there for faster treatment wouldn't be available.

If you're going to have universal health care, regulate the fuck out of it. Caps on salary, caps on profit for medical equipment, caps everywhere. Instead of paying a doctor $300k a year, cut that down to $75k/year and hire 4 of them. Doctors in other countries aren't making $300k a year.

When you combine universal health care with poor regulation and a corrupt revolving door government that completely fails in collective bargaining vs. public sector unions, the health care becomes a wasteful and inefficient cash grab.

Medical school acceptance rates are under 5% (under 3% in some places). Think about that. For 10,000 doctor applicants we train under 500. It's a cartel that keeps the labor supply low to inflate/protect their own status. When you have so many applicants for a job, it's a clear sign that the job is overpaid.

The medical device industry is even worse. We're spending over $100,000 on a piece of equipment that costs under $50 to manufacture.

So yeah, break up the cartels/unions/monopolies, bring in some real penalties for the revolving door shit, overhaul medical patent laws, allow foreign trained doctors to work here/certify (basically free up the market). Or go in the complete opposite direction and crank the regulation to over 9000. Cap income. Cap profit. Go full blown communist health care. Do the same with education and nuke the tuition cost. 300k+ underemployed teachers in Ontario? 2000+ applications for every tenure track position? Drop their income, hire more.

Because half and half you just go bankrupt while receiving shit service.

All HC is restrained single payer or not. It's just a matter of how you choose to restrain it.

IMO most fair is those who can afford to pay get best care since they have already proven worth to society by compensation society gave them.

Liberals, being thief's they are, steal from haves and gives to have nots and make everyone suffer. (jesus complex or some shit but jesus never stole charity was 100% voluntary liberals miss that)

Prefer deadbeats suffer not everyone.

As a surrogate of the campaign- which was what Al Franken was really asking in his loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggg tortured phrasing of the question (Have you stopped beating your wife yet sort of set up)

he had no contact. As a US senator he had contact. Although you can't see the difference that he was wearing two hats, the law sees a difference.

This is much ado about literally nothing.

As for first instincts (press using it as a distraction from speech) - sorry, but that is wrong. Everyone KNEW a distraction was coming from the left. It was like radio silence before an attack. The overwhelming simultaneous appearance of almost identical verbiage (most using the word "twice" came out. It was being pushed to people that don't normally get pushes from certain outlets.

It is sad that this failed effort was the best their coordinated minds could muster.

You know that thing when sometimes when you are bored and click on one of those retarded news sites with for example top 5 list of some dumb shit. Well i clicked one called "5 Celebrity-Obsessed Weirdos (Who Happen To Be Celebrities)".. to my surprise on nr. 5 we find..

"Like some kind of warped cross between a fairy tale and American Psycho, here's the story of one man who wanted to date a princess. According to TV personality Selina Scott, soon after Princess Diana's divorce from Charles, Prince of Wales and heir to the disappointingly non-iron throne, she was "bombarded" with "massive bouquets of flowers." The sender? None other than future U.S. president Donald J. "Easy D" Trump.

Allegedly, it began "to feel as if Trump was stalking her" because he gave Diana "the creeps." Of course, Trump disputes all this. But it would be a lot easier to give Trump the benefit of the doubt if it wasn't for the fact that he kept talking about how much he wanted to get with Princess Diana ... after she died.

Mere weeks after Diana's tragic death, NBC's Stone Phillips asked Trump if he could have dated her, to which he replied, "I think so, yeah. I always have a shot." Yeah, in case you didn't know, it's the job of the fourth estate to figure out which celebrities had the best chance of fucking recently deceased dignitaries.

Not letting the matter drop, months later, Trump said, "I only have one regret in the women department -- that I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer." Which may be evidence that Trump purchases his women from some sort of department. And when asked by Howard Stern the same year Diana died if he "could've nailed her," Trump responded: "What an appalling question! I won't dignify such thoughtless vulgarity with an answer."

Kidding. He said: "I think I could have."

This wasn't Trump's only celebrity crush, either. According to Salma Hayek, he asked her out, and when she refused, an unflattering article showed up in the tabloids, which she suspects may have planted by Trump to use as leverage to get that date. Which is so messed up that it wouldn't surprise us if this incident isn't where the whole "wall" idea stemmed from."

So i thought i'd fuel this fire a bit now that i have such a good chance to unleash some baseless claim like this.
I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.

Rich famous celebrity wanted to date another celebrity? I'm shocked! I suspect he didn't hook up with her because she wasn't Russian.

Unlike Clinton, who did hook up with the Russians - if you trust the alt-right paper NYT:

Agreed. Work with one, and used to know another who sounded quite a bit like Zana.

Maybe that's why Obama had the same Russian (mentioned about Sessions) to the White House during the campaign?

Sergey Kislyak - appears in Obama's White House visitor logs numerous times including

Well hey, good news - nowadays we have a huge "alternative media", much of which is disgustingly enamored with Trump. So I reiterate the question - what pro-Trump news have we been missing out on? The reason most coverage is "anti-Trump" is because thus far, the Trump administration has pretty much been one scandal after another.

If my folks had needed a hip replacement back when we still lived in the states, you know what the wait time would've been? About as long as it takes for dad to get a massive raise or mom to win the lottery. It is perhaps telling that when polled, most Canadians cannot imagine switching to the American system.

Quite vehement to stay on your topic aren't you.

Fine. What's the matter with russians anyway? Everyone loves to hate them, loves to hate on communism but don't understand shit about russians. It's born from ignorance and media misrepresenting.

I'm going to bring a little more fuel to this fire and then i'm going to leave before i get caught in the flames.

Americans, we, the rest of the world, are tired of cleaning up your shit you spoiled child of us. You act all high and mighty but we are the ones cleaning up your fucking mess. You disrupt the middle east, and europe has to clean your mess up, europe has to show the muslims that the values of the western world are sound - you realize how many from the muslim world has saught refuse in the EU and how that threatens European economies?

And now because "times are hard in the world" - you have elected a nationalist president so you can shut yourselves out from the world to avoid these troubles. You are just fools. Massive ones at that, always about your own interest where a leader should have vision.

Let's bring out some more examples. You think welfare systems are bad for people, you think that capitalism (more for memememe directly, less for all indirectly) is the best shit ever - yet extreme capitalism just makes things more extreme, the richer get richer the poor gets pourer, because of this you have some of the highest concentrations of wealth in us and you think that's proof of capitalism virtue, and it works only because US is probably the largest exporter of culture in the world so it's like a world center, because its already the most extreme place in the world, together with capitalism making things more extreme, it means that the extreme-extreme crossing reaches great heights, but it's not a solid foundation for a whole nation in the far future and for the rest of the world and the rest of your states it's non-ideal. It's actually best for only the very top most riches people, and bad for the rest, which is why it is so hilarious to see that the masses in the us are fighting for it - completely blinded by media to not really understand where they stand and what things really are. Again you are total fools. Look at the world - the countries with the most developed welfare systems are usually the best in the world. Yet this simple truth seems to elude you, because of the extreme-extreme crossing and media indoctrination. You just can't have great things without a central body administering a large portion of the economy for visionary goals, and you need a societal form that is protected for the far future so it can't just be that the richest person/people are expected to do this that is so vulnerable to downfall. It will just descend into capitalism at its worst, ego ego and people not united - which is why the shitting on communism is ridiculous and hurts your reasoned descision-making because just like capitalism if you take pure communism it will ruin the country but you need a balance of both schools of thought in addition to the support of the people to make a nation work.

Also, look far into the future. We need to be united when asia/africa rises. We should be smart, Americans, Europeans, Middle Easterners and Russians should all come together. We are born of the same values pretty much, our cultures are so alike. But we are slaves to your genetics, we won't come together until a threat actually forms that threatens us.

Oh did we mention gun-law? In the rest of the world we understand this - guns are not toys they are deadly tools used for killing and should not be easily available. Again, you are massive massive fools acting like spoiled little children with toys.
