The archive link is broken. The video doesn't show up. This is rather insane straw-grasping, if you ask me. Comparing two different photos with different lighting and saturation and pretending that CNN photoshopped a dude's hand to look whiter by a few fractions of a degree on the color wheel (still doesn't look white, by the way)? Taking an archive link that ignores the actual content and pretending that CNN is treating this cropped photo as the news to intentionally smear Donald Trump? Don't you guys notice that the archive page is a little bit threadbare, and bizarrely missing shit? Almost as if some of the content isn't loading.

And by the way, when talking about misleading and photoshopped images, if it were FOX News we were complaining about, you know what this would look like?



But no, because CNN has a picture oddly cropped in a video thumbnail, then immediately shows the more complete picture in the video itself, CNN is trying to hide the fact that Donald Trump was meeting with people from historically black colleges and universities. That was something I found out by... watching the link you claim tries to hide the fact. The fact that the wayback machine broke the video link does nothing to change that. In this case, the archive is of a web page that is incomplete and doesn't work. Whether you want to blame the archiver or CNN for that, these complaints are absurd. You guys want a complaint that's valid? Focusing on the memes surrounding this. That's not fake news, but it is stupid news, vapid reporting at best.

Nope. Being disabled shouldn't give you a pass from all the same social interactions that anyone has to endure. "Diversity" means everybody gets treated the same way, right? If your go-to mocking gesture is modeled after a physical disability, you're probably a douchebag. If you don't reconsider using that gesture when referring to someone who is disabled, and specifically mock their disability and stutter, you're definitely a douchebag. Just being "politically incorrect" does not somehow free you from any critique you might get for things that are socially unacceptable - like mocking a disabled person using their disability. It just means you're proud of being an asshole. This would be bad enough if it were just an actor or a businessman, whose job doesn't largely entail being a huge role model and the head of state with clear diplomatic requirements. But as candidate for president? I still don't get how you people just shrug this shit off. As though the concept of "being presidential" was some liberal buzzword invented to attack Trump.

Being disabled may not give you a pass, but apparently being rich and a huge asshole does, because apparently you don't seem to care that Trump is able to ignore the typical social interactions of "Seeing blowback for being a huge douchebag".

Oh, and by the way? I see a pretty clear difference between the way he used that gesture when talking about Kovaleski and the way he used a similar but not very similar gesture when talking about Ted Cruz. YMMV.

You should remember that I'm not a partisan Republican. I plan on voting in the Democratic primaries in my state in 2020, and I will vote for whomever I think has the best chance of beating Trump. Pointing at the other side of a false dichotomy and crying hypocrite isn't a defense; you're essentially ignoring the mindset of the nonpartisan independent.

I think this is true if Trump was aware the reporter had a disability involving abnormal contortion of his arm. Since the reporter has no neurological or mobility disability and a normal face, AND Trump used his go-to mocking gesture, it's unclear whether Trump was aware or not.

Donald Trump is a man of the people and Democrats do not like that he is throwing a wrench into their plan to racially divide Americans in order to start a civil war that will not only collapse the economy but it will also give the government the green light to call for martial law and control the people like communist China or even worse.
