Still, the plight of our urban areas, due to decades of Democratic control of municipal government, is regrettable. We could fix a lot with Republican mayors.
I have no idea how you came to this conclusion. It's not like there's a significant correlation between republican control and effective governance of cities. Most cities are run by democrats.
Yes, most major cities are, which is why I said what I said.

I'm not a partisan Republican. However, as a relatively non-partisan person, I believe in a relatively simple concept: if you're not satisfied with governance, stop voting for the incumbent party. Continuing to vote for "muh party" over and over, ignoring results, is enabling crooks in office. Will you be satisfied with the other party? Maybe, maybe not. But for fuck's sake, in major cities like Detroit or Chicago where the municipal corruption is obvious, it's time for regime change. Hell, vote Green for all I care if it'll get the establishment party out of office.

I'm not saying there isn't Republican corruption at municipal levels, but it's generally a much smaller community when it happens. Less of a headline as a result. But yeah, there are some small towns that need to give the Dems a shot, by the same logic.

I live in the Orange Curtain (last republican strong hold in Ca) and trust me republicans are currupt as fuck locally. You dont run for a job that pays pennies as a already erudite member of society unless you can get something on back end. In fact Id say local govt is even more currupt than national. We have #1 contractor in city who started with nothing 10 yrs ago then his brother got on city council.hmm I'm sure there is more going on i dont know about but construction is our family business.

As far as Obama care and health care in general. Just enforce Sherman and clayton anti trust acts and even minimum wage earners could afford to pay cash like old days. Ive covered this BS earlier in thread but again its deep state that made heath care cost 20% of GDP instead of 5% 40 years ago.

Doesn't surprise me. I said I'm not partisan, I meant it. My logic is simple: if they're fucking up, tell 'em

and vote in their opposition.

In general: fuck incumbents.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

No it s not racism, it is just bad speaking english used by those thugs.
BLack people are not Dindu Nuffin , thugs in Ferguson were.

Stop white knighting everything. I think the biggest racist here is people thinking like you. They want minority thugs to stay mediocre. YOu are the segregation they are facing.

If I were to loose my balls I would Ignore everyone who tell me something I don t agree. I continue to read other opinion texts tho, because this is what democratie is, living with people having other pov.

The left fascism however love to censure and erase. special snowflakes living in safe spaces.
arguing with themselves because they can t stand different opinion.

If people just want to vomit text without facing contradiction there is no need to post in there. Just create a blog and speak your truth and avoid confrontation.

Keep segregating and pushing mediocrity

Minor? Kid was waving a fucking gun at ppl I consider that dangerous antisocial behavior 12 or not.

Rolling up on the scene and immediately opening fire on a child who may or may not have a gun is considerably more antisocial than waving a fucking capgun at people. Would it therefore be justified for me to go to Officer Wilson's house and shoot him? How about if I have a badge? Or would you recognize that as murder, despite how antisocial and "net negative" that person is?

There are, however, cities run by republicans. San Diego comes to mind. Fort Worth. Albuquerque. Are these cities significantly better off than the average Dem-run city? And it's not like these issues vanish even in well-run cities. New York City is, for all intents and purposes, doing quite well for itself. Harlem still isn't a very nice place to be out at night. These are complex problems. I don't see why hiring republicans to solve them would actually fix any of them.

The difference between republican and democrat cities is free shit basically. You give free shit you get more freeloaders. Free citizenship (even for criminals with sanctuary cities) get more liabilities.

All goes back to master philosopher Reagan axiom “If you want more of something, subsidize it; if you want less of something, tax it.”

So basically all your saying is we have greed in government? We don't need a new name for that.

Not sure what you got out of the Kennedy speech. it wasn't about secret societies or anything to do with deep state. It was about the cold war and the hope the press would stop printing things that should be kept secret.

I love Gorge Carlin but it could have been said during George Washington's term and been mostly correct. I don't understand how a Trump supporter could even like Carlin. Trump is copying Reagan with everything and what looks like the corruption to match. Just no knowledge of foreign affairs and the class of Rodney Dangerfield. This is what he would he would think of Trump.

Citation needed - that this is the main difference, that this actually is a consistent difference, and that this is always a net negative. This smacks me as almost absurdly oversimplified.

Bullshit. My grandfather came here from Afghanistan 40 years ago to escape American Jihadis (known as AQ today, funded armed and trained by same CIA you think has something on trump in addition to lying about Saddam over and over) and doctors came to his house for $20.
