Have any plan with use a skyforth?

Elementalist overload is stronger than RT
Also no plans for skyforth, use it if you want but theres very little difference . I guess you could use a n evasion flask but that's it

Running a modified version with Skyforth.
Helps with stun, and the reduced mana reserved with a lvl 4 Enlighten lets you run Arctic Armour (for defense) or Herald of Thunder (for more dps) alongside Wrath and Discipline, with a comfortable amount of mana to spare.
I run Elemental Overload, and don't really use the PCOC effect. I guess it's nice to help keep EO up for a greater amount of time, but crit is really hard to build, at least with an Elementalist.

Why Written in Blood instead of Melding? You can then get an Energy from Within jewel next to it and get more ES, no?
ES per point is really bad with energy from within nerf. even with a perfect energy from within it comes out to 8% ES per point, which is worse than written in bloods 7.5% per point and strength because you're effectively using 4 less points and you get a jewel socket.
How did you come about calculating these ES% numbers?
Melding (with a perfect Energy From Within) is (8%+8%+8%+16%+6%)/5 = 9.25% per point

Hi, I got lvl 94 Whispering Ice Witch. I'm considering to try this build. Got 6L Vaal Regalia and Skyforths. Can you show me your tree? IMHO using Kaom's Roots is pretty bad (we losing ES and 4sockets). Was thinking to grab Unwavering Stance (I got this in Whispering Ice tree already). Someone tried conversion from WI to HoWA?

The tradeoff between 15+ skill points and 1 item slot.
I'd rather trade the item slot.

Intelligence gives 2% (10 int) a bit more for HOWA.
48% total with perfect Energy from within, divided by 6 points (4 for wheel, 2 for jewel)
and you also lose the jewel socket.

But 15 passives there ain't wasted. You can save those str nodes with "brutal force" jewel and convert most of them to int.
So actually there are no losses.
