LABYRINTH LADDERS - unfair?

This is getting circular because your definition of fair is incorrect. It would still be fair even if literally all classes except pathfinder were disqualified from entering into the lab leaderboards as a rule or if all other classes had 36 hours added to their times. As long as every human person gets the same rules applied to them it's fair.

It is unfair since ladder says than ONLY pathfinder can make speedrun x2 faster than rest 20+ classes.

Last time I checked all players had access to pathfinder.

Aha. Very funny trolling. Explain me then why there are rest 20+ classes if you want to make everyone play pathfinder? Explain or get deservely reported.

These jewels are limited to one per character. :-P

That still allows to keep it in a stash in large quantities, right?

What will happen if a character that has been rewarded by speedrun jewel reward meanwhile he already has one? It will be deleted or placed in a stash?

I was talking about the amount you can use on the passive tree at the same time. There's no limit to how many you can loot.

As for the reward system, the question is what you want to incentivize. Right now, it incentivizes playing the most optimal character, and reaching almost perfect times. This means that if you won't do both you won't even attempt to compete. If you want to incentivize a diverse playfield, you need to have a reward system based on character class. If you want players to try to do their best, the it needs to be based on time without limiting it to the elite.
Reread my original reply if you're confused. This thread is about lab ladders being "fair" not "balanced." Those two are different things.

I mean ironically, pathfinder hasn't really had any buffs... It has been pretty much the same since 2.2.0, it just took 2 leagues for the general masses to catch on to how powerful it is. Shit, flasks have been broken LOOOOONG before that. Ghudda did his original "flask" build over a year ago, before Pathfinder was even a thing. They haven't really "changed" anything to "make everyone play pathfinder", people just didn't realize how strong it was until G'DAY ZEGGYDAY HEEYAH told them as much.

As i see the problem is one-man that monopolized Merci and Uber labs for months having an unrivalled build based on overpowered ascendancy class.

Solution 1: Nerf Pathfinder
Solution 2: Give lab rewards based on top-1 classes, not a top-1 man. It means that jewel reward will be received by 7 people, played by different classes [witch, templar etc] and finished lab faster than another class-players.

So now people realised that it is a broken class and it shall be changed.
Also, for those of you that are arguing against this, you should know that it's the same person who gets the jewels in Merc and Uber, in both STD and ESC, every day.

Account name devoided, as anyone can tell by looking at the leaderboards. His profile is private so people can't copy his characters to try to compete with him.

But yeah, he's been getting the jewels from Merc and Uber every day pretty much from the time it was implemented. He started in STD, but seems to have moved to the temp league as well this time. His char from the temp league is actually faster than his STD one, so Essences must have improved his build he uses for this.

It's typically the same person (though not devoided) who gets the jewels from normal and cruel every day as well, at least in STD.

The leaderboard system reward system probably does need to change, and it's been discussed before. Possible ideas did include expansion of rewards to give them to more than one person per day. Examples were give one to the top of each base class, as long as they are all different accounts.

Of course, there's still problems with this (like one person making multiple accounts to try to get all the rewards), but it's at least a start.

The dude is probably doing a queen of the forest build using pathfinder. 50% extra flat evasion and movespeed from those two flasks is a large buff. You don't need to see his characters to figure out what he's doing. Having class specific prizes does sound like it would make the reward system more interesting for people who don't want to play pathfinder though.

Pathfinder has not had any buffs. Prove otherwise... Pathfinder hasn't been buffed since release. Its nodes have stayed the same since 2.2.0 when it was added to the game. I'm not sure what you aren't understanding about that. Pathfinder didn't suddenly become powerful in 2.4.0. It has been the same since it was released. The meta has shifted, yes, but Pathfinder isn't what changed.
