Trucks... My Opionin whats yours
" Uh, yes it does. Are you even aware that the current wars in Syria & Iraq are almost completely sectarian, for example? Sunni muslims vs Shia muslims. Clearly two versions fighting it out. There's many versions of Islam, some worse than others. Most of the islamic terrorist organizations (and there's a whole lot of them - way more than all other religions combined) follow a sunni salafist ideology, which is also the official religion in Saudi Arabia - the same Saudi Arabia that is funding mosques in Europe, including France. With the blessing of our leaders, Saudis are funding the ideology that is killing Europeans on our soil. When night falls

" Oh you mean different muslim branch that arn't recognized has beeing legit for the large part of them i see where you come from i miss understood what you mean in previous post sorry. Well actualy while ISIS is coming from some of these branch ( not sure about the appropriate word i should use i'm not native ) what they are doing is against Quran it's also against direction muslim try to take since decades so basicaly they are claiming they are while largest part consider them as extremist and secte. We can play with words but all muslims i know will say it: Those guys are just assholes aiming for power / business / hate / and control. Can't enter into much more detail since i don't have much more knowledges about this religion ( or nothing i can add to this thread ). Anyways this discussion won't end before a while we are facing problem in France resulting of these attacks that are not going to be solved anytime soon. " Agreed. The thread is more of a sarcastic take on the mentality that continues to allow these tragedies to happen - by diverting attention away from the problem and trying to use the public sentiment to build support for a completely different issue. The current mindset of the mentality is that gun control is the only thing we need to focus on. Trucks, axes, beheading swords, drowning people in cages, burning people to death in cages, stoning people to death with rocks - all tie in with a problem that gun control won't solve., Whether gun control will help with crimes cause by mentally unstable people (which is a valid perspective on some of the recent events) or street crime in general is an wide open debate. Nothing in that perspective of debate merits taking away consideration of what is indeed a major problem worldwide. People are being slaughtered by the thousands because of the problem. If someone doesn't think that is worthy of discussion, then I think others can judge that for themselves easily enough. That many people find such topics uncomfortable, overheated, too full of strong opinions, depressing or otherwise not to their emotional liking I can understand - especially in a gaming forum. People generally play games to have fun, not look at real world events that are distressing. I participate in these topics, because I respect differing opinions. No matter how much I may feel or think someone is wrong on a given aspect of a post, it doesn't mean I value their thinking less, nor that they might actually be correct, and my thinking on the subject wrong. The perspective from people who live in other countries is something I find very educational. It is tough to step outside of what you know and were raised thinking, but comments from others who come from what might be a vastly different background can be enlightening. TL/DR - I don't think the thread or the posts are mocking the tragedy. Once you've seen those bodies strewn in the street, you can't unsee them, and you can only imagine the utter anguish those involved feel. There are limited ways we can actually help some of these people. We shouldn't be limiting the way we try to prevent future tragedies, and THAT is what the thread is about - imo. " I used your template to ask same question you asked about guns; should they be banned after horrific terror attack in orlando. Should trucks be banned after the Nice france terror attack to see what people think. At the end of the day IMO its not these weapons that are problem but people behind these acts. If you ban one or the other tool these terrorists will just find another way. We need to get to root of the problem not the tools. I dont understand what you object to. We both agree these attacks are bad. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep on Jul 19, 2016, 9:40:44 PM

PS stop stealing our language you are not liberals in spirit of founding fathers, I'm a liberal, you are neocon prowar socialist. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberalism Liberalism is dead today sadly except in Libertarian parties. " I'm going to assume that you didn't read my follow up post, where the very first sentence clarifies that this is not a thing I want to happen. A comprehensive, easy on the eyes loot filter:

"Normally, I don't like calling the police. But when some random 60+year-old man attacks me out of nowhere, almost disemboweling me with dull boxcutters, suddenly I want to call the police*. Not because I'm scared - his element of surprise is gone and I'd have no trouble disarming him - but because I want him to suffer (and I'm not a vigilante). Justice or revenge, take your pick. Normally, I don't like war. But when a group of radical fake-Muslims kill innocent people in a cowardly attack, then do it again, then do it again, then do it again, then do it again, I like war. Actual war, not Team America World Police. Been there, done that, got nothing but a T-shirt out of it. I guess Nice was kind of the line for me. Fuck being the Nice Guys. Both meanings - at this point we are allowing ourselves to be kamikazed with impunity. Bottom line: destroy the terrorists and any who aid or tolerate them. Force the Middle East to choose a side - and woe to those who choose poorly. Make their land ours until they unfuck themselves, then give it back, just like Japan and Germany. Stop at nothing. It's not like they haven't declared war on us. It's not like they won't stop at nothing. * Actually happened. Turns out he was a vigilante - his motive was that I was smoking in a non-smoking outdoor area. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
