2.4 and the CoC nerf - what to expect ?
" You must be missing something, since CoC ES builds that take no damage and destroy all content are the top ones in the game atm. |

" The biggest issue in game is chaos meta... What kind of CoC ES builds are immune to damage btw? Would like to know. I know chaos meta builds are immune to reflects, but I have no idea that CoC ES builds are immune to all damage tho. You must be missing something if you think CoC is the biggest issue. lol I mean we call it "chaos meta" but we never say "coc meta" especially when coc cant even be made to have 100% ref damage immunity. " Eh I had more stuff quoted and more stuff written and I guess yours just ended up staying because it was related to the last thing I wrote. It's probably better served without quoting anyone, so I edited it to that end. I'm just frustrated by this emerging self-centered attitude that anyone who thinks anything should be nerfed is jealous of their elite super cool builds. It's quite unproductive and usually gets those involved side tracked into an irrelevant flame war. On still another note, people need to stop calling the chaos conversion meta 'the biggest issue'. It's not an issue, and even if it were, it wouldn't be the biggest one. It's simply run-of-the mill imbalance. As I said earlier, adults understand why wildly imbalanced things are harmful to a game's longevity. Especially a game that brands itself as one with nearly unlimited choices, options, and build paths. Using language like 'the biggest issue PoE faces' is inviting others to interpret that statement as 'the chaos meta is ruining my game experience' which it's not. It obfuscates the issues worth talking about. Last edited by innervation#4093 on May 12, 2016, 10:13:01 AM

" Yea everyone that wants to nerf chaos meta and coc is just uber elitists that's jealous of cool people using the very unique one of a kind builds like voltspark and coc discharge. |

Yeah, in some peoples eyes, it's impossible to have views about the game, without being jealous or have sarcastic remarks being thrown your way.
I play this game in my pace, not trading, not racing, not PvP'ing in any way. I'm not an elitist, I'm not jealous - I just have my points of view. And now and then, GGG pushes out a new meta, with FoB builds that trivializes a lot of content. I know a lot of people is in favor of this - and a lot of people dislikes it. I can understand both sides. There's one side, tho, that I don't understand - the side that have this need of labeling other people, just because they disagree. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile. Last edited by Phrazz#3529 on May 12, 2016, 10:23:17 AM

Lol CoC isnt even remotely OP. Its one of the strongest balanced builds in the game. Even Havoc died using it. Eveyone loves to claim it takes no damage and does infinity damage and people are just delusional. There are only a handful of builds than can do uber atziri reliably. For christs sake quite trying to nerf everything. The game for once has multiple strong builds, lets keep it that way.

Vinktarded - L100 Pathfinder GoogleDiversityHire - L100 Necromancer 3.13 was the pinnacle of PoE. IVYS+1 Gang 4 Life. |

I lol'ed at the discussion is not about which is more op : coc builds or chaos conversion.
It's about " they said that coc is about to be nerfed (source inc), what would you expect" Dont try to trivialize my post. It's not a post about "Dont nerf my coc, nerf x or y or z build" |

" Alright back to topic: I took the statement of Vaal Spark changes in 2.20 as a template: "Cast on Critical has been nerfed in almost every way possible. Its chance to Cast Supported Spells when you Crit an Enemy has been reduced from 69% to 39% at level 20. The cooldown time for supported spells has been increased from 50 milliseconds to 330 milliseconds. Gems supported by Cast on Critical gem do not benefit from any kind of positive more multipliers. Cast on Critical gem now has a less multiplier of -30% for critical strike chance, critical strike multiplier and area of effect." -Enjoy partying up again fellow exiles. What to expect, eh?
Roll a d9000 and consult the table. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
