Hardcore POE: Paying for boss kills

Cant you guys just let it rest? We dont constantly piss on you for playing standard either. (obviously except some clowns that say they are hardcore players every opportunity they have, just ignore them.)

@OP I dont quite understand people who buy bosskills either, that said there are some builds that do much worse with some bosses than others. Melee evasion and the a4 bosses are as unfun as it gets, for instance.

1. Actually using log out scripts doesn't make you hc at all champ. It makes you a poser.

2. Actually hc players constantly snub their noses at sc players. Like it's a known thing with hc players to be like "I play xyz, but hc, because I'm hc and not a sc scrub." So yeah, we all know how cool hc players are lol.

I don't normally play hardcore, but I would guess the reason is the uneven difficulty curve. There is a big difficulty spike in Act 4 and from there it's not that difficult again until like Act 3 of the next difficulty. So you're stuck overleveling in lower content just to get past one boss so you can go back to leveling naturally afterward.

this and some fights are really shitty optimized the malachai fight lags hard and drops fps
the piety act 4 fight can kill even a well geared same level char in a second if u have a lagspike

since the dom fight the fights have all those unneeded gfx porn izaro is the newest example

and the difficulty curve for someone playing first time hc and getting to piety normal act4 is just dumb
if you know the trick its a cakewalk but first time.....

btw you dont have to kill merc dom merc malachai ect all you have to do is reach act3 and go to maps and come back once you feel strong enough

i paid somoene to do the lab for me in normal i was pretty confused cause i had to follow him through all the traps i feared so hard (lost 2 chars in lab) which was the main reason i paid him the izaro fight is laughable you can cheese it with level and gear

lesson learned paying labruns is dumb you have to walk anyway

I wouldn't do it myself but I understand some people have a build that is broken until mid sixties or has big problems with specific bosses (melee has an issue with dom touch of God for example).

Also lol at the endless hc salt. Inferiority complex or what?
I pay a lot of times in hc and sc because my computer sux
"Fighting" with 0-5 fps is so crap
my english sux.
I play only HC and I do occasionally pay/ask a friend for boss kills/rushes. Why? There are two main reasons:

1. Every time you die you need to make another char. It can get tedious. Rushes help.

2. Sometimes you do get to making a build that requires lots of respeccing or is just clunky until a certain level. Is it worth it risking to remake a char just for one fight that's so over the top compared to other content like Malachai, Daresso, Izaro...? A char that's severely gimped. I don't think so.

hahahha people play SC? Must be a bunch of babies, HC is for men and means you have more skill

Why do people who play HC pay other people to kill bosses for them? Why are you even playing HC if you want to cheese it by having some over-leveled and over-geared player fight the fights that pose the most risk? If you are afraid to lose your character, why are you in hardcore? Just to say you play hardcore?

I see this all day long in global when I am on my HC chars...makes me laugh.

Near Death Experience.

IMO - Those that do so, do it for the same reason people ride roller coasters, or bungee jump - for the thrill of being close to danger, yet not in real jeopardy of losing life, limb, or character.

Some people climb Everest, some people climb the local mountains, some people prefer to watch the climbers on TV.

To each his/her own.

Let's keep it real, most people play the game to do the endgame content, I.e maps, etc - Not act 1-4. Which means they try to rush the leveling process as much as possible and go with builds that are good at just that, leveling quickly instead of surviving boss fights.

I have been playing hardcore since my very first character and it has nothing to do with "being hardcore" or trying to prove something.

It is solely due to the adrenaline rush you get from a close call that you'd never feel if you only risk losing 10% experience instead of your entire character.

So if I can skip risking having to do the tedious task of leveling another character by paying someone a few chaos to kill a hard boss then I'd happily do so if I feel my build is at a weak point.

I build characters in hardcore, and then keep playing them in standard if they are fun.
Sucks having to level two sets of masters, but otherwise it's no issue.

Getting people to beat the content for me would seem pretty pointless. The point is to grow in your own skill and get the satisfaction of beating it yourself. If you can't beat it, then it shows you need to fix your character. If you can't, then your character is probably too crappy to be worth playing anyway.
The only benefit I can see from it is if I really want those microtransactions for completing challenges, and you don't have enough time left to complete them yourself.

Why do they use log out macros, why do they use portal tricks in boss fights, why do they farm white maps...image.

I find Hardcore fun (and worthwhile) because it teaches me not to take stupid risks.
Logout macros are bad, because like softcore they just kind of teach you that taking stupid risks is OK. Of course you need to take risks, but you need to learn which ones not to take if you want to get better and improve at the game.

Portal tricks in boss fights are a little bit cheating, since they refill your flasks. But I personally don't mind that since they're only really useful in fights where the bosses don't have enough adds to refill your flasks. All characters are based around using flasks, and it's dumb when you are forced to go without them. "Cannot recharge flasks" would be the dumbest map mod ever, it would ruin basically every build. So why have it on bosses? That's why I think portal flask-recharging is fine.
If you use a portal to completely back out of a boss fight though, that does seem a bit cheating to me. You shouldn't take on the boss unless you're pretty confident you can beat it.

Farming white maps is totally fine, people can play the game however they like. Not sure why you even brought this up.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
