When will Labyrinth be nerfed for non-elite players to get Ascendancy classes?

So can't complete I'd have to disagree.

Can't compete, that could be argued, but who cares?

So is this what PoE is evolving into. Is elite player and power creep forcing GGG to set the content difficulty bar higher and higher for each new content such that today the non-eleite player needs to be about 10 levels above to complete the Labyrinth today, then in a future version of PoE we'll need to be 15 levels higher? With this constant content difficulty increase as elites get better and better will PoE eventually be rebranded as Path of Elites because at some future version of PoE (act 6 or 7 maybe?) this arpg will be tuned such that only top elite players can survive? This is a very troublesome issue that GGG must come up with a way to pacify top elites without causing mass exodus of non-elites as "dieing all the time is crap" and "this game is bullshit insta-death crap.. I'm done with this shit."
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Kind of a baseless argument. It's an optional area, not an act that leads to another, so it's relevance in the leveling scheme doesn't have much merit.

If they had required you to beat Malachai on Act 4 before it opened instead of opening it on Act 3, you would never have known the difference and completing it close to 40 would have made it adequately balanced. The clear time on trash in Act 4 is about the same as it is in the Lab and the loot tables are comparable. Still got Sacred flasks, still got direct or competitive upgrades to my gear.

I mean, go ahead. Move it into act 4. Raise the trash level by 10. It will satisfy your criticism and do absolutely nothing to change the challenge of completing it.
why NERFING? Is perfectly fine in standard. You made laugh of us who playing standard. SO NO TO NERF. You choose to play league. Your problem with labyrinth difficulty.
Things important to surviving lab:

-be over-leveled
-be really patient
-pay close attention to traps
-lightning warp

I don't think that izaro should be nerfed, and that's coming from someone who hates lab.

The only thing that really sucks about lab is the craptastic feeling when you die near the end and that's just straight up time wasted for no reward. Bad, bad feeling. I can't think of a way to change it without fundamentally changing the way lab works though, so what we've got is what we'll have.

lab is fine except for some GGG-style boss oneshots as usual. I mean a 5k mara conq gets hit for 3k under granite on cruel Izaro, proly oneshots eva\es chars, that's kinda silly.

Were you res-capped? I got 1 shot for 3.2k life by the first hit of cruel Izaro's final form, but it was because I wasn't capped and he had a lightning buff of some kind I think. His phsyical damage doesn't seem too excessive

I'm far from an "elite player" as the title says. I've made two solo attempts at the labyrinth in the league:

First attempt was with a Lvl 38 Totem Scion and I did horrible. Died on second Izaro fight. Honestly I didn't quite grasp the fights.

Second attempt was with a Lvl 37 Drain+Contagion+Acrobat Shadow and it was pretty easy. The 6-socket Tabula Rasa that I bought from Cadiro definitely helped ;).

Overall I think the labyrinth is very well done. The traps are exciting. The boss fight is fun and quite the anxiety rush.

The only thing I'd change is the ability to save progress after each boss fight so you can split the run up over multiple sessions. If you die, you'd lose all progress of course. Anyway, that's a small wish. I imagine the runs will get quicker as everyone learns the ins and outs.

Great job GGG on the expansion!
I think it's reasonably balanced. The first 4 points are practically free since you can just return to the previous difficulties and stomp him.

Argus though, he's way over the top of stupidly over tuned. Only way to safely kill him in merc is cheese his AI as he attacks way too fast and hits too hard for having such high attack speed. Not to mention his health is absurdly high. Two of these, not all three. At least tweak his attacks so you can at least have a heads up before you get sucker punched to death.
As someone who has never died to Izaro and did him 60 times by now... the damage he is able to dish out really is too high. I have 7k and with fortify, 3 endurance charges and basalt flask up, yet he sometimes brings me pretty low. As a level 68 boss, he should be no harder than an overconfident rare.
Now I'm not arguing that he shouldn't be difficult or that he should deal less damage, I kinda agree with the "difficulty" but the level of difficulty doesn't correlate to the level of the zone. I feel that the zone level, at least for the Izaro zones, should be increased to at least 75.
