When will Labyrinth be nerfed for non-elite players to get Ascendancy classes?

As much as I love the ascendancy classes, I was never looking forward on how to get there. I hate labyrinths and I always hated platforming in any kind of game. I alrready despised the first trial in normal, stuff like that instantly bores and frustrates me, I don't know why but it's just there. So yeah I doubt I'll even care for getting my ascendancy class in the first month of the league, and to be honest that can't be the intention of new content, to purposely avoid it.
I normally play softcore but I wanted to play hardcore for a league again. Might have been the wrong timing.

Finish your sentence! Why do you think that time is too exaggerated? I needed half an hour to beat normal difficulty ... on standard with a fully geared level 92 Ranger. So in my perspective 5-10 hours is within reasonable range.

I am talking about merciless in 15 minutes (just did it timed in 13 minutes, izaro fight was 4 seconds) as a level 89 marauder.

as far as doing normal mode in 20 minutes with a brand new character.. why would I be doing the brand brand new content with a character that is like 24 hours old? if the content is that easy give me a break, its a class ascension.. if you are complaining because you can't do the brand new content with a 24 hour old character in a brand new league then I don't know what to tell you.

I will tell you that regardless what league you are in, the actual traps are easy to dodge and merciless can be done repeatedly in under 15 minutes with a standard character.
My opinion:

I like the traps, I also love the layout and I do think the boss is one of the best to date. But the mobs in the lab is to easy compared to the boss. If you manage to do the entire lab, you'll get rewards unlike any other in this game. That should be hard. I do believe that people who enter at lvl 33 should have a very hard time completing it. It should be do-able if you're very good. Remember the rewards: enchant, ascendacy points and plenty of loot.

I agree.. the mobs should be atleast level 75 plus.

the lab could be an amazing end game area, its enchantment reward is about as end game as it gets.. I wish the loot and mobs along the way were higher level.

ascension should be an endgame feat.. making it on par with the current end game stuff doesnt really add anything to the game, just buffs every class while adding no new high level content to play.
The labyrinth is freakin EASY, some potions, life regen and movement speed = you can run inside of the traps & not care about it. It's what i have done for all the difficulties, i havent die once and i was not carefull.

the boss in the other hand has too much hp. it's damage is high too. It's a map 68 and it's harder to kill than malachai 70, it's not logic and not normal.

I dont think that it deserves a nerf, the level of the map should be higher, 80? same for the drops & monsters.

Are we... talking about NORMAL act4 here?

If so I'm surprised, I feel the game is getting easier with time so the lab is a refreshing challenge.

But by all means, if it's too hard for you, skip it for now and work on it when you feel like it.

this game would have the perfect end game content if the lab was level 80. the boss would become stupid hard though but as it is he is too easy.

I'd be fine with a slight boost on izaro, and a huge boost on the rest of the map

Well yeah the boss is very easy with good gear & build. But it's ultra difficult for a level 68 character with a cheap stuff, 15 chaos or less plus a 5L :/

For this reason either it shall be nerfed to reach the "doable by ungeared lvl 68 chars" requirement or it shall be buffed 80 with the rest of the area, as we said before yeah :p

Well, glad I'm not the only one. It's ridiculously hard on normal and I stopped trying after 4 hours and reaching level 40 as well. I don't care about cruel or merc - I can deal with those when my character is developed and has decent gear but for normal lab to be this difficult is outright lunacy.


I haven't been able to try it yet. I started it, it was all fine but on the first load screen the game froze and...I lost the char. Didn't even have to fight Izaro. So I'm talking without first hand knowledge but may be the lab isn't actually meant to be played in Act3, it's just the entrance is located in Sarn but the content should be handled later, like before going into cruel

Im not complaining, Im asking for help, because I cant get through 3rd stage merciless Izaro with my level 92 legacy windripper, legacy coil, legacy surgeons flask ranger.
Especially that 4 second Izaro kill makes me wonder how you did that. My char has 110k single target dps when fully buffed, enough to easily kill normal Aziri, but I dont deal enough damage to Izaro before his barrage gets me.
That leads me to my next problem, movement. Dodging sounds easy and it is doable in his first two stages, but his third stage is a trap cluster zone with like a fourth of Malachais room to stand safely. Im not good enough to reliably dodge that barrage in this stage.
