When will Labyrinth be nerfed for non-elite players to get Ascendancy classes?

Theres already "elites" that figure out how selling labs, lol

GGG wont nerf it, or how "eilte" will run them?

My honest impression is that labyrinth is probably the biggest surprise brick wall that has ever been added to this game to date.

I knew ascendancy was coming out, and I knew vaguely that there were ascendancy sub classes. Other than that I knew nothing about the labyrinth. When I got my arc witch to the point where I could actually access the labyrinth I had no idea what to expect.

At first I thought it was cool. I actually enjoyed the trap mechanics and the monsters didn't seem ridiculously hard. I liked getting the keys to unlock doors and stuff. All of that was fine.

The boss was also fine. He was a bit hard for my level 35 witch, but I managed it.

But then it didn't end. I was like...oh its not over? Little did I know, I had another hour or so and two more boss fights ahead of me.

To make a long story short, I had no idea what the conduits and disruptors did, and so when I reached the final boss fight he had 2 elements and 16 charges up and wiped the floor with me. I think it was statistically impossible for me to win.

So, 1-2 hours of playtime followed by a boss fight I cant win because I didn't intuitively divine the totally unexplained mechanics of a 3 segment boss fight spaced out over the whole run.

Im sorry but thats soul crushing to anyone, elite or not.

My two big complaints about Labyrinth is that its too long to be fun, and that you HAVE TO DO IT to get your subclass. If labyrinth didn't guard major character advancement I would think of it as nothing more than challenging, optional content and its difficulty and length would be fine. But it isn't. You have to do it 3 times to complete your character.

I think thats a poor decision on GGG's part. People came to play ascendancy for the subclasses. To put them behind such a huge wall is going to make people quit.

Just my 2 cents.

It´s awesome. I tried it 5 times until i got my ascendency class. It felt like earned it.
Sure for the new gaming generation it maybe to harsh. Instant gratification generation is killing content in games.

GGG dont listen. Its perfect.
Labyrinth well... if I would like to play super meat boy I would play super meat boy not POE.

See you next leauge.

Just listen to yourself. You just admitted you sunk 5-10 hours into getting your ascendancy class. I cant get all the way to merciless in that amount of time. Nobody with any sort of life is going to stick around for that crap. Its stuff like this that keeps the playerbase relatively tiny.
5-10 hours?? 5 attempts at normal lab is like an hour, hour and a half. Even if you made it to final izaro every time thats like 2 hours.

if it is taking you 10 hours for 5 attempts.....

Finish your sentence! Why do you think that time is too exaggerated? I needed half an hour to beat normal difficulty ... on standard with a fully geared level 92 Ranger. So in my perspective 5-10 hours is within reasonable range.

If you claim, that you can kill Izaro within 20 minutes with a fresh character in normal difficulty, would you kindly share your secret?

Why are only super elite players allowed to have Ascendancy classes?

Players with normal playing skills (not uber/elite players) can't complete the Labyrinth (kill 3rd boss) as it is currently designed.

Please fix this asap.

If you do the mechanics correctly in the first 2 fights, Izaro is no more power on the 3rd fight.
Subclasses are by FAR the most powerful "quest" reward in the game. Don't expect that they'll just be handed out for nothing. Even if it does take you 5 hours to complete...seems like it's well worth it. And if you can reach merciless in that amount of time instead and you don't want to deal with the challenge of the labyrinth, then...go to merciless. And THEN go back and do lab while you're overleveled enough to make it much easier.
Stack lots of movement speed and regen.

That being said, I play hc and some of the traps can rip you in 2-3 hits and you do have to run into some trapped switch areas blind. You can not see what is off screen.

It is a bit overtuned. I made it through the normal ones solo without any prior knowledge besides the promo vid/ So, not complaining but I am terrified being an hc playerwith some character investment at this point risking it all for two more points. (but I will)
With like 2K life and being one-shot by the cruel Labyrinth in the first phase twice, by his auto-attack.

And you know what? If there is a vulnerability on you, you will die in half a second by any physical trap.
