GGG & Kripp - Why?

Despite his respectful comments, he looked uncomfortable playing ARPG. I don't really think that a honest relationship but kinda understand that he cannot fling ARPG games off. :P

OK let me try to explain. 1 in 300 chance to get the right enchantment, and an enchantment keep in mind that doesn't make or break your game seems like a good inventive for the players to replay the labyrinth. Would a 1 in 100 be better? 1 in 200? Maybe, but again it's not exactly 300 in 1 isn't it? It seems that most skills have multiple enchantments for them so that alone reduced the 1:300 figure ... now add that you can get an enchantment for something different than your main damage skill and still make a good use of it. So that 300:1 is simply not accurate ... But anyway ... it's obvious why GGG decided to do the enchantments this way and s it really a surprise based on all of the RNG mechanics in PoE ? I get it that there are people who don't like all that RNG but that's the game GGG want PoE to be.

Kripp was bored while streaming PoE. And it was boring to watch.
if i understand it right thcre are around 300 enchantments.
That number sounds like tehre are a alot,but tehre arent that many.

You have to consider that there are 3 slots that means 100 for each.
Some of them are only archivable in cruel/merciless,that brings up the question "can merciless labyrinth spawn normal/curel ones?"

The Newspost a few days ago indicats that you cant get normal (named "word") enchantment in merciless (entchantments are named "decree").
So what does that mean?

if they are split evenly than you have a 3x chance to get the gloveenchantment you want by chosing the right difficulty .(2x for boots since tehy ara accessible in cruel/merciless) helmets get no "increased" chance by choosing the difficulty but i think there will be less helmets effects than for gloves or boots since gloves will have a normal/cruel/merciless enchantment of the same kind (just lower proc/efficiency rates)

Find me idiots nowadays who die from reflects more than once in a month... When Kripp played this game was way harder because bosses, blue pack+ yellow could 1 shot you if the stars aligned.

Why are you talking about vaal? During that time vaal could smash you 1 shot, now you can tank his hit so easy with all the defenses and uniques in the games and life nods on tree.

Difference between now and then is now almost no reflect and AOE is so powerful you need to push one button to refill flasks. There is reason why first level 100 needed 3 month but now you get 100 in 2 weeks. In past you enter catacomb and use totem to attract monsters because it was scary. Now no need totem to hide, you can clear 1 buttons packs.

Game is easier in all aspect and it is boring for people like Kripp for sure.

So the reflect is the easiest thing to handle in PoE.
Kripp dies to reflect.
Kripp dies to the easiest thing to handle in PoE.
Kripp is still considered a great player, the best even.
The best player diest to the least threatening thing.
Therefore the game is .... easy and boring to the best player ?

Fair question, though Kripp has certainly done it before with other games (ARPGS in particular aswell)

I thought it was fun to watch a bit of the stream. It made me want to return to PoE with the Ascendancy, and so I will. I'm sure there are others like me.
