GGG & Kripp - Why?
The 10-20k viewers he gets while doing the alpha aren't going to NOT play because HE doesn't enjoy it. Hell I watch just for the nostalgia of Kripp playing POE. I assumed he wasn't going to drop HS to play POE for a week or two when expansion dropped.

" This in a nutshell. Getting tired of a game because you've spent 1000's of hours on it and not liking a game are two entirely different things. The suns always going to set eventually. @OP perhaps try to actually quote what kripp said next time and throw in a bit of context rather than just basically making shit up. |

I'd rather have an honest opinion than someone being a shill.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

the guy who did the guardian preview was way m9re enthusiastic about path of exile than kripp was... just saying heck I'd watch him if he streamed a poe lets play if people were that happy when playing.

Kripp has always been a POE alpha tester right from before the game was released as a public beta.
Those alpha testers have not had their status revoked. They remain 'the alpha testers' and get to test all the new expansions that have come out. | |
I think labyrinths are retarded too. 1/300 chance to get what you need and it takes ages to get 1 chance no ty

" Yup because getting what you want for the first couple of tries is obviosly the way to go ... "I'm going to show you pain you never knew existed, you're going to see a whole new spectrum of pain!!!!! Like a RAINBOW!"

" It might not be the only way but 1 in 300 with the possibility to repeat? I am sure it's obviously the best system ever. The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change. Welcome to PoE. Last edited by Pewzor#2343 on Feb 27, 2016, 8:40:16 AM

I had a very similar reaction when I saw that Kripp was given early access to Ascendancy so GGG could increase the hype train. He has been out of playing PoE for so long that his feedback is worthless to me. Any of the State of Exile Podcast regular members (ZiggyD, Pohx, Zeno, etc.) that are actively playing PoE have Ascendancy feedback of any worth to me and should also be highly valued by GGG. So for Kripp to come back to test play after being out for so long is worthless crap.
I see the good news is that getting positive hyping of Ascendancy from Kripp has backfired for GGG as he considers it boring and will not be playing it come March 4th. The bad news is that he does not like it meaning it's more boring twists on the same old core game play theme. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat: www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2247070 |
