Hypothetical question: would you get banned if you knew how to dupe exalted orbs
" There are tools to back that up if you want to look into them. They're strong enough, if the sample size is large enough, to stand up in court. Profs use them to check for plagiarism. They'll tell you if it's the same person writing based on a wide variety of standards. |

" Do they take into account split personalities or if let's say the person was an author, and they wrote in one way in the perspective of one of their characters, a US army veteran when they're actually Australian? "Spent 15 minutes arguing with people over loot in a game instead of seeking medical attention for his Mother? I am afraid I would not have returned to the game to tell anyone a thing and got on the horn with 911 as soon as I knew there was an issue. I suppose some people just get enjoyment from trolling the internet with nonsense.
Spoiler
I'm pretty sure that post linked is a bullshit story but if it's not I feel sad for ivqan.

if that's trolling, that's probably the most elaborate and creative trolling I've ever seen.
believe it? I don't know. I wasn't going to believe that thread some time ago, where the guy said he wanted to reach level 100 before he dies. and then I found out - sadly - he was serious, and it literally brought me to tears. " you would be banned only if you devs would found out that you dupe exalts. "Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. " Well the reason I wanted to speak to an attorney was because I wanted to know if I could get banned, I mean hypothetically. I know a lot of people are saying, "Yeah they can ban you for whatever reason" but the thing is I don't think they could do that, especially after someone has spent maybe $1,000 on the game. To ban them just on a whim or an innocent mistake they made, I think would be a contractual violation. So just wanted an official legal answer, since I am not a lawyer yet, from someone who is. Could they ban a player for that? |

" Are you serious? Just presenting a completely hypothetical question and trying to learn more about the game? This doesn't sound right. |

" [Removed by Support] Contracts were meant to be broken. That's what good contract lawyers do. They find loopholes in contracts. Furthermore, if you take a closer look at your passage, it states :...if it believes you have breached these Terms of Use...". Finding a secret in the game doesn't breach the ToU. Also, any contracts over one year cannot be online. You need explicit approval. It's been more than a year. That's a loophole I found myself. Last edited by Rachel#0000 on Feb 22, 2016, 3:56:19 AM
