you mentioned RF - how good of a sustain can you get going vs the degen? (how is the 20% reduced dmg over time Leo mod on shield applied to the RF calculation?)


scenario would be (I guess)

75% max fire res + 6% from Purity of fire = 81%. (87% with spamming Ruby but this won't always be up when running between packs)

regen could be 4% from Shav ring + 1% from Occultist?


and then -20% dmg taken over time on shield. any other modifiers that can be easily gotten to affect it? (all assuming NO zealot's oath option of course)

You could sustain RF with 20% shield/RoP, old Ruby Flask , Witch Flask nodes and PoF.

Now with nerfed Flasks idk how well it works, for the CI version icurrently play the most on it does not matter anyway i just have the dot craft on the shield for bleed and burn damage.

I don´t think you can sustain RF on all the time with resonable investment, i only ever used it as temporary boost on boss fights with Flask up and beeing able to leech all the time.

do you think with capped chaos res its possible to go low life without shavs? just curious.

looking forward to rolling this build, considering hybrid and running CoC/Cyclone/BF/BV/ICS/AoE-ConC and trying to get life leech via atziri's flask or warlord's mark, maybe throw some mings on for chaos res. Think carcass jack is a viable option as well? or too little es on it?

Still facerolling with this build, currently at lvl 93 in HC Perandus. Gear dump below. I changed some gear recently and damage is now insane.

Great build man, Having so much fun. I did end up ripping on my low life guy (DONT RUN PHYS REFLECT, THAT SHIT WILL 100% ONE SHOT YOU).



However it was so good I ended up rerolling the CI version, and even with my medicore ES gear im at 11k ES and 4k eva. Probably one of the best builds I've ever done.

you can do phys reflect just fine, just swap in a Phys to Lightning gem.

Great to hear that! Ho much ES do oyu have with Scolds? The additional Spelldamage is insane for sure!

Is it a bug with the Forums that i don´t see any gems or did you unequip them all before linking? Just asking because i had some bugs with some gems not showing up in my gear when i link it to the forums.

I tried that too and it works to some extend, but on even medium sized packs its still really scary, on top of that you lose a ton of crit consistency without the ICS Gem. Would not do that in HC or on higher maps when i want XP from it.

Carcass has much to low ES and little benefit to be considered imho.

I would also not run Conc. and BV.
BV hinders you more than it helps for packs because it kills mobs before you can get a CoC Proc on them, you also won´t get any decent amount of stacks without inc. duration linked/ in the tree.

I started this build with the intention of using BV but it just feels really mediocre and does not help at all compared to EK.

Its fine for single target, like Atziri where you can build stacks and the mob does not die but even then its not better then EK with lots lower range.

But feel free to try it, its also green so you can allways swap it for EK after testing.

If you want to play without LL Gem i´d go for a Phys to Lightning Vinktars.

I also honestly don´t see the point in doing that, the build gets more than enough damage for everything in the game allready and for the encounters where you could use more damage (e.g. Uber Atziri) you certainly don´t want to go with only warlords and flask leech.

LL without Shavs seems really hard to pull off imho, you can try it but its hard enough to get decent chaos res for the Hybrid version imho. without Shavs i think its better to go CI at least for high maps when the Chaos damage really starts to hurt.

I forgot you only have the one blue socket. On Scion phys reflect maps are easy because you just swap crit damage (not crit strikes) gem for Phys to Lightning, and there is enough leech that it is 100% safe.
