Same Problem for my friend on Optus cable in Brisbane.
I played for a bit on Australia gateway from Malaysia - and I have massive spikes +1000 ping. Usually get 150ping approx. Seems like there is an issue | |

I've found the issue, the game client thinks I belong to SG gateway and it also mistakes Australia gateway for SG's, leaving the actual option to connect to Australia gateway unavailable for selection

Good to know its not just me with the problem...yeah I suspected we we're on the singapore gateway, just with how consistent it is and the fact that the singapore option had disappeared from my selection window.

Singapore has always been hidden. Another company (Garena) has the license for POE in South east asia. Im unsure why GGG did this, as Garena (who has many license) is not viewed (in my opinion) as an advantage. I live in SEA - and I've never seen any advertising from them!
So what that means - if you want to use Singapore, you have to type It in. but im unsure why the client automatically selects it for you. | |

Same here, and the server thing on the top right says "Singapore, even if I connect through Australia's gateway

" I've got no idea either, before today I always had Australia selected, I only hit auto-select once I saw the previous persons post. That being said I'd say it's a fair bet that if I had auto-select on before today it wouldn't have said Singapore. |
