POE is already Pay to Win. What can/should GGG do?

But... what do u win? this game is about farming times... add AH like in D3, and kill the game. yes, blizz get some for "selling" item form other users... but what fun is there in D3 today?

If u ask me, let the cheaters cheat.... and let them kill the game for them self. i know i have more fun, when i find or trade for an items the real way.

By OPs logic, every game that has either an account (you can sell/buy accounts) or is about collecting items for multiplayer is p2w. Though I'm not sure if the OP isn't trolling.

Probably no one cares, but my personal opinion is that GGG should have P2W. I am a GGG fan and feel that P2W is going to happen anyway, and it will happen a lot more if POE gets as popular as I think it will. Why not let GGG get the benefit?

I have never used a real money AH, even in D3, which I played a lot. So this is not some sort of effort by me to get P2W for personal benefit. I did use the gold AH and have no problem with the D3 AH.

I feel that at the end of the day people play games the way they want to. If having the best equipment in the game is important to you and you don't want to spend the time to find it, then you will find a way to get that equipment, even if it means spending real money. Others, like myself enjoy self found, or very simple trading. Each to their own.

This entire thread is pointless.

As long as the promise to exchange ownership of resources in a game has real value, people will provide that service for real money. And that value relationship will always exist.

It does not matter how many of us crow from the roof tops that spending real money for game resources, there are players who will use that system. They will probably even agree with you about P2W being a detriment to the gaming community and that it should not be done. . .and then turn right around and do it anyway.

Bottom line: this was an eventuality, the will always be items for cash and there will always be assholes who provide the market.
