POE is already Pay to Win. What can/should GGG do?

No, you're missing the point- what those people is doing is cheating.

The Problem is that its not their fault and they can hardly do anything against that.
Every single game that exists got this Problem. There isnt one slightly popular game where this kind of stuff is not present already.

All online games will have third party sites doing this. GGG has no reason to do anything about it especially with their limited resources.

Sadly ALL online games have some kind og black market. and it can be hard to put a stop to it.

Pay 2 win, is wher u must play REAL money, for an item u are not able to get in normal way.

All items in PoE are droped.. and you have a chance to find it.. og trade it... just takes time.

It annoys me that 3rd party sites get the benefit and GGG gets nothing. If ever POE gets as popular as D2 then there is serious money to be made from this.

This is exactly the reason why D3 came out with a real money auction. Blizzard knew there was a lot of money going to 3rd party sites and felt they (Blizzard) should rather benefit.

People who are inclined to P2W are going to do it anyway. Right now, that money is not going to GGG.

also consider that the actually competitive leagues (race leagues) where you could actually win have a completely seperate economy - i mean how exactly do you define win in an open league like default or default hardcore?

Hi, I sympathize with your viewpoint, but did you actually read my post? I can right now pay real money for POE items. This IS P2W. I just can't do it officially.
